    "Come on, Alegría! Don't let this bother you. I know you can beat this Tyrogue," Eraizaa said, giving his Spiritomb comfort in her apparent failure -- she had become downcast when she saw that Eraizaa's plans had completely been upturned, but Argent could tell that the Tyrogue wouldn't be up to doing another one of those feats any time soon. With that in mind, Argent wondered what Eraizaa's back-up strategy would be. A full-out assault, trying to weaken the Tyrogue as much as possible? Trying out some status moves in order to incapacitate the Tyrogue further? Either way, Argent was sure that once the ball was thrown this time, the Tyrogue would be Eraizaa's -- Argent had seen that Eraizaa was at least a good enough battler for that, and his attitude now that he had gotten into the swing of the run had improved dramatically. Argent had no idea what had actually induced the change, though. It didn't matter now.

    "Let's show him what you can really do. Try preparing a Will-o-Wisp," Eraizaa said, to start things off. This was rather simple for Alegría, evidently -- she simply yawned, and whilst doing so, various orbs began to spin out of non-existence, all similar in shape and size, and all a dark red colour, but they had a purple glow to them. Will-o-Wisp was a move that burned the opponent -- burns made the opponent take damage each round, and they also couldn't properly physically attack, either. That was especially useful against Tyrogue, the majority of whose movepool was purely physical moves. If he wasn't able to use most of his moves properly, then he'd be in some amount of trouble, that was for sure. That confirmed Argent's suspicions about the capture of the Tyrogue -- it was probably imminent, especially after inflicting a burn and the attacks that Argent could tell were coming along right about now.

    "Now use Water Pulse and fire!" Eraizaa shouted excitedly, boosting Alegría into the same mindframe as he did so. She energetically conjured up a sphere of water, which she distorted into a ring, and the orbs were directed to dance in and out of the ring. Together, this made a potent attack -- providing that the Will-o-Wisp wasn't put out, or the Water Pulse didn't freeze. However, as Alegría spun, she slammed the strangely co-operative combination of moves forwards, and it lashed at the Tyrogue powerfully. The ring of water smashed into his chest, knocking him back, and then the orbs of scorching fire singed him, burning him all over. He was barely able to move, but he was still glowering spitefully towards Alegría. But he didn't have the energy to continue on. He was fading slowly, close to slipping into unconsciousness. But he still had a tiny little bit of strength... that was before Alegría had completed her Shadow Sneak.

    Now he was sprawled on the floor.

    "Now's your chance," Argent advised. "You should throw the ball again!"

    OOC: I meant for the ball to have been thrown during my last post...oh well. Sorry if this post is notably shorter than the others, but it is basically "Eraizaa threw the Park Ball" being stretched by a lot.

    @Buoysel.

    I was surprised once again. Despite the environment being one of the worst ones for this kind of combination, it some how worked. The Water Pulse had struck directly and the Will-o-wisps had gone in for the burn. And that was before Alegría could go in for her Shadow Sneak attack.

    Realizing that her last attack could possibly knock out the Tyrogue, I quickly yelled, “Alegría, stop! I think Tyrogue have had enough.”

    Without hesitating, I quickly aimed towards the Tyrogue and threw the Parkball. I didn't know if Alegría had gotten the message, but I hoped she did. Either way, I knew she was a very empathetic Pokemon. She always had a knack for knowing how much other Pokemon could take. Still, I wasn't going to leave this to chance as Tyrogue looked horrible as he was and I could tell the slightest hit could possibly bring him down. But all in all, I hoped the Tyrogue could be captured before anything else happened.

    The previous assault over, Eraizaa could tell that the Pokémon that he was aiming to capture was in an increasingly bad condition -- it would be necessary to catch the Pokémon now, as he was clearly close to fainting. He was burned badly, and Eraizaa's ruthless attacks that had been performed by Spiritomb had taken its devastating toll on the Tyrogue, who was sat on the snowy ridge, dazed and injured. At this stage, he was uncomprehending -- all of the attacks had come without warning, had come without him preparing for them in the least bit. That always dazed and discombobulated a Pokémon entirely, startling them completely, ergo their inability to attack or even move for some time afterwards. Argent watched this behaviour closely, intrigued at this new - or so it was to him - discovery. He wondered when Eraizaa was actually going to throw his Park Ball. Standing up and turning himself further to Eraizaa, he waited for the moment.

    "Alegría, stop! I think Tyrogue has had enough," Eraizaa had called a few moments earlier, halting his Spiritomb in her tracks. Startled a little bit by his sudden command, she retreated eagerly to his side, where she proceeded to bounce up and down in anticipation of Eraizaa throwing the ball. Everyone was hinging off of him right now, and the circumstances were right -- Eraizaa would be mad not to throw the ball. This was the critical moment. Everything was perfect. However, without hesitation, Eraizaa drew a Park Ball from wherever, and he flung it towards the Tyrogue almost casually, but Argent could see that Eraizaa was just a little nervous that, after all, this might not work. Argent, however, had no difficulties in believing that it was a guaranteed capture.

    It was, of course, an immediate success. Argent scooped the ball up as soon as it had stopped moving, and deposited it in his satchel along with the other Pokémon Eraizaa had caught, Machop. They would, perhaps, be friends. Argent smiled as he thought about it, but he knew he'd just have to continue on with the run. However, he thought he'd let Eraizaa have a bit of a breather first. Two battles in a row must have taken a lot of energy out of the Snowpoint Gym Leader, so Argent made the suggestion.

    "How about a rest, Eraizaa? Tell me when you're ready to move on."

    @Buoysel.

    I sighed loudly once I saw it was over. The result was a huge surprise for me as I had never planned to weaken a Pokemon this much before attempting to capture it. It was a scary moment since I almost knocked out a wild Pokemon. Still, Alegría was now at my side again and she seemed quite content with everything. The Ranger was right though. After all this, I needed a break.

    "I think we should sit here for..." I began to say when I suddenly heard a loud beeping sound coming from my backpack.

    I quickly looked through it and it seemed that the sound was coming from my cellphone.

    "Hmm...a reminder...Oh God...I'm supposed to meet a friend at the Power Plant today! I completely forgot!" I exclaimed as I read the message.

    I looked at the Ranger and said, "I'm sorry, but I really have to leave now. If I do, I might just make it in time. Thank you for bringing me here up to this point."

    At that moment, I turned around and looked towards the road we now had to take back, although these Rangers were known for having Psychic Pokemon do that work for them. I took out a Pokeball and quickly recalled Alegría back into it just in case. Sure, I only caught two Pokemon and I once had before, but it was a great feeling. It was worth taking a trip up here.

    OOC: Yup, I'd like to keep Machop and Tyrogue please!
