Individual RP: Senzura

BP


Rabadash managed to dodge the attack as if it was nothing. At that moment, Senzura threw the Parkball towards the Tyrogue. Suddenly, Tyrogue's eyes gave out a small glow and Tyrogue simply took a step out of the way of the ball.

"It used Detect...that Tyrogue...it really does know what it's doing," commented Ranger Eli.

Tyrogue then focused a bit and spat out what looked like a purple sludge. The sludge quickly evaporated into a cloud that headed directly towards Rabadash.

"You got to be kidding me!" senzura yelled followed by a long stream of curses.

Senzura began stomping in the snow, kicking up the white power as he did. He suddenly noticed the purple cloud heading toward Rabadash, and reacted quickly. The cold wind continued to whip around Senzura, the capture gods obviously not on his side

"Rabadash, quickly, roll under the cloud, then quickly jump up and use mirror move to copy his attack!"

Rabasdash began to lower himself to the cold ground as Senzura pulled out a Superball. He swiped his hand quicky to the side, sending the ball flying toward Tyrouge. The ball whizzed like a full speed baseball toward the pokemon, cutting right through the cold mountain air.

"If this doesn't catch that Tyrouge, I'm gonna do something real drastic!" Senzura screamed.

Rabadash quickly jumped forward and rolled on the ground right into the cloud, but the cloud quickly lifted upwards so the Combusken wasn't affected. At that moment, Rabadash spat out a Toxic of his own which quickly spread into a cloud that covered Tyrogue completely.

At that moment, Senzura threw a Superball right at Tyrogue. The ball hit the Pokemon which got inside the ball. The Superball fell to the snow and gave out a single red glow before stopping completely.

"Finally! You caught it!" cheered Ranger Eli. "And to think we just started. Where do you want to go next?"

"Well, first of all, some buissness to take care of " senzura said as he turned toward Eli.

Rabadash was beaten badly after that long battle. he was kneeling in the cold, snowing ground, panting.

Senzura ran quickly over to his injured pokemon and gave him a pat on the back for a job well done.
"Thanks Rabadash, couldn't of done it without you"

Senzura then pulled out a purple spray bottle out of his bag and showed it to Rbadash. Rabadash cringed back toward the icy mounatin when he read the lable "Max Potion".

"Im sorry buddy, but you need this if you want to feel any better" Senzura said as his pokemon tried to kick up snow in his face.

Senzura quickly, with some finise, sprayed Rabadash's wounds.

They both got up together and turned toward Eli.

"Well I think we could go explore those caves" Senzura suggested as he pointed up the rocky trail heading up the mountain and into some caves.

Ranger Eli nodded as he waited for Senzura to spray his Pokemon. In the meantime, with the Blizzard gone, Eli turned around and recalled his Gallade into a Pokeball. Seconds after, Rabadash was as good as new. With his new strengths, he followed Senzura and Eli up the trail.

Less than 2 minutes later, they arrived and a cave and entered it. It seemed very dark, so they couldn't go too deeply into it. Luckily, just as they had taken a few steps in, something seemed to be coming out. It was a Snorunt. It wasn't really paying attention to the visitors. It just kept walking and minding its own business.

Senzura cringed. He REALLY didn't want to hurt the little Snorunt. It looked so happy just walking along. Although, he always wanted a Froslass. As the little guy started walking out of the cave, with icecles hanging above, Senzura really needed to make a decision.

In the end, he gave in to his desires. With his rubber sneakers situated on the cold rocky floor of the cave, he quietly whisperd an order to Rabadash

"Rabadash, sneak behind the Snorunt and hit him with a slash."

Rabadash nodded as he started to slowly tip-tow toward the little triangle shaped pokemon, his chicken-like feet makeing muffled sounds agaist the rocky floor of the cave opening up to a snowy trail.

Rabadash tried to be as quiet as he could. He really did, but the excitement of the battle took over him and he began running towards Snorunt while scraping against the icy wall. Snorunt turned around and noticed the incoming attack. For some reason, the Icy Pokemon didn't seem scared. Suddenly, just when Rabadash was about to hit, a barrier appeared around Snorunt and pushed the Combusken back. Combusken then slipped a bit on the ice, but quickly recovered his balance. Snorunt just observed its opponent, waiting for it to make a move.

Senzura rubbed his frozen temples. Why did Rabadash always have to be so stubborn? Despite that, Senzura had other problems on his hands. Just how would he get past Snorunt's barrier.

"Okay Senzura," he said to himself "just analize your surroundings and the answer will present itself.

In front of him, was Rabadash, standing on the rocky cave floor. Above him, icecles dripped slowly from the ceiling, making a somewhat distracting tapping sound. The small Snorunt was standing just outside the cave, making small round footprints in the snow. Between the two pokemon was a icy floor that the Snorunt's barrier had thrown Rabadash back on. Suddenly, a light bulb went off in Senzura. The idea was risky, but if executed correctly this time, it might just work.

"Rabadash, I need you to actually follow this carefully,' senzura started as he gave the order to his Combusken. "You see the ice in front of you? I need you to slider on that ice to gain momentum. Then I need you to jump at the last minute right over Snorunt. At the top of your jump, when your right over Snorunt, rain down a flamethrower"

Rabadash looked a little douptfull, looking at the ceiling. A good point, what if he hit the cave ceiling?

"You need to jump ONLY at the last minute, or you could risk hurting yourself" Senzura warned.

Rabadash thought it over, but eventually agreed. He began to walk backwards, kicking up some cave rocks as he went. he bent his bulky, round legs, preparing for the run. Rabadash looked over the feild in front of him, making some last minute prerparations. Then, he lunged his large body forward. The three orange feathers atop Rabadash's dome shaped head flew back as he pumped toward the ice, ready for his icredibly ricsky attack.

Rabadash did as commanded and quickly ran towards the ice. He immediately began sliding on it, but something was wrong. Instead of gaining speed, Rabadash was actually slowing down over the ice. Snorunt just seemed to be standing there as Rabadash neared. Soon, Rabadash was in the proper distance to perform the attack, so he jumped over the Snorunt. At that moment, Snorunt looked up and blew a strong Blizzard towards Rabadash hitting him in the stomach and pushing him upwards. Being hit like that, Rabadash only managed to make an Ember rain down on Snorunt.

As the Ember rained over Snorunt, it began to panic and ran back inside the cave, trying to find some shelter. Rabadash did a somersault and landed back on the ground outside the cave.

OOC: I never said that it was getting worse. It was more like a warning so that you don't get overconfident or something like that.

 

"Rabadash, you okay?" Senzura yelled to is pokemon.

The attack didn't quite go as planned, but Senzura didn't expect it to. He looked at his Combusken, standing face to face with the Snorunt in the snow. He know new something that the snorunt had the he didn't: home feild advantage. As long as that Snorunt was outside the cave, she had the snow and cold on her side. If Senzura would be able to trap Snorunt between him and Rabadash inside the cave, maybe it's movments would be restricted.

So Senzura thought of something that might make things a littlwe easier.

"Rabdash," he began "use Flare Blitz to knock the snorunt into the cave. That way, it can't use the weather to help it!"

There was little distance between Rabadash and Snorunt, which may make the attack a bit stronger. Rabadash began to kick snow behind him, allowing the winds carry the powder away. Rabadash's body began to glow red-hot as he ran at full speed toward Snorunt.

Rabadash prepered himself to attack and burst into flames, ready for his Flare Blitz, but when he looked around, he noticed that the Snorunt wasn't there any more. He quickly looked back into the cave and noticed the Snorunt running away, so he ran behind her with his attack. However, in his haste, Combusken slipped on the icy floor once again and hit the wall. Snorunt kept running and disappeared into the darkness of the cave.

"Oh, that's too bad. I guess the ground inside the cave is harder to deal with than the one outside. Don't worry, you have plenty more Pokemon to encounter," said Ranger Eli, encouraging Senzura to keep moving.

Senzura frowned.

"Well, I guess you can't get them all" Senzura said to Eli. This cave was seriously hindering hisa fighting ability. Rather than continue exploring the cave, Senzura decided it would be better to just continue heading up the mountain. Although, he first went over to Rabadash and sprayed him with a max potion. This battle was proboly hindering on Rabadash's morale, so Senzura gave him som,e confidence.

"Don't worry buddy, we'll get the next one" Senzura said as he sprayed Rabadash with the potion. As they got up together, they began to walk out of the cave into the the mountain road.

"You coming Eli?"

Ranger Eli nodded and followed Senzura. He quickly caught up to him and said, "Try to not get too far ahead. Remember that if there's danger, I'm supposed to keep you safe and all."

They kept walking up until they found what looked like a snowy plain. Ahead the road continued up hill, but, to the right there seemed to be steam coming out. Ranger Eli was curious about this since he didn't remember there being any thermal waters in this part of the mountain.

When he took a closer look, there was hole filled with warm water right next to the wall of the mountain. There seemed Machop relaxing, or rather meditating in the water, but Ranger Eli just stood there, writing what he was seeing as he felt it was worth reporting.

As Senzura ran up to the pool of water, he smiled as he saw the machop. The little guy was just sitting there meditating. Senzura immediantly guessed that it was already aware of Senzura's presence. Senzura needed to decide of a course of action that could let him hit the machop first.

It was then Senzura noticed the obvious: the machop was meditating in water. What if he heated the water enough to burn the machop and catch it off guard? Senzura motioned his Combusken to run to the pool. Rabadash quickly ran over to Senzura, making noticable footprints in the soft snow.

"Rabadash, try using flamethrower at the water" Senzura ordered. "Maybe we could burn the machop!"

Rabadash nodded, and bent over, dipping his beak in the water. He then took a deep breath, preparing to heat up the water with his flamethrower.

OOC: Okay, its official: Im running out of ideas.

Rabadash made his way through the snow and, as instructed, put his beak on the water and began using Flamethrower. Immediately, Machop opened its eyes as it noticed the raise in temperature, so it began swimming towards the edge, although for some reason, the water was heating up faster than normal. Machop quickly made it to the edge and jumped out of the water. It began rolling in the snow a bit before standing up, revealing most of its lower body was burned.

Machop was angry about it, but it just took a fighting stance while facing Rabadash and awaited its move. However, for some reason, Machop's burn didn't seem to bother it.

Ranger Eli finished writing on his notepad, walked to Senzura's side and said, "Be careful. This Machop seems to be collected and focused."

"Determined, eh?" Senzura responded to Eli "Well two can play at that game!"

Senzura thought that this machop would never fall for a head on attack, so Senzura decided on a more tricky move. He ran over to his Combusken standing at the edge of the now heated water to give the order.

"Rabadash, hold your ground. As soon as that machop comes near you, swing to the side and use mirror move"

Rbadash nodded and got into position. He quickly spread his legs, kicking soft snow to the side. He held his claws out in front of him, making a pose that said "come and get me".

The Machop and the Combusken stood face to face in the mountain opening, waiting to see who moved first.

Rabadash grunted as he didn't like that plan at all, but, he decided to go with it this time. However, for some reason, Machop wasn't moving either. It became a staring contest for a moment, when suddenly Machop's eyes gave out a blue glow which actually spooked Rabadash, making him jump backwards, almost falling into the water.

Rabadash got mad, but he quickly followed Senzura's command without thinking about the outcome. He used Mirror Move, much to Machop's surprised and copied Machop's moves. Machop was spooked as well and now both Pokemon were a bit uneasy.

Senzura grew impatiant that this wasn't getting anywhere. Rather than play it safe, he just decided on taking a more direct aproach this time.

Senzura stomped around, kicking snow up into the air as the breeze carried it away.

"Rabadash!" yelled Senzura as he gave a very immature order "Just jump up and use flamethrower in a sweeping motion!"

Obviously this was a sign Senzura's ADHD was kicking in. He was growing quite impatiant and wanted this Machop. Rabadash, likely pleased with a more Rash coarse of action, ran at full speed, swinging his bulky body side to side. He bent down, and got ready to jump.

Rabadash quickly ran and then jumped. Machop wasn't sure what to expect, when suddenly Rabadash used Flamethrower in different directions. Machop looked around and, not finding a way to dodge, it just took a few steps back, trying to get the least of the fire as possible. All the snow around quickly melted, but then it froze, making the floor slippery.

Rabadash landed, getting overconfident of his work for a moment as he looked at Machop, noticing it was in pain, when suddenly Machop sprung forward, grabbed his leg and tossed him without warning. Rabadash didn't seem to have time to react and fell chest first right in front of his trainer. At the same time, Machop slipped on the ice and found itself sitting on the floor.

Senzura noticed the machop was right were he wanted him. The little guy was sitting on the ice, recovering from the attack. Sticking a finger, he gave an order to Rabadash.

"Quickly Rabadash, get up!"

Rabadash was still in a bit of pain, but got up the best he could. He pushed on his knee, allowing him to stand up and receive Senzura's order. He wobbled a bit, but kicked up a little snow to regain his balence.

"Rabadash, quickly melt the ice with your flamethrower!" Senzura yelled.

Senzura wasn't trying to drown the machop, but rather catch it off-guard in order to deliver a stronger attack. Rabadash back away from the ice and took a deep breath. After one last jump backward, he prepared to melt the ice. At this point the battle could easily go either way, but Senzura was confident he could do this.
