Another toss of a certain pink-colored toy, and the Pidgey was gone. We continued on, not really knowing where Farfetch'd lived in this zone. We didn't find anything for quite some time as Rex continued to play the Voice Disk using his PokePlayer.

He gave up after a while, though, with a rather disappointed look on his face. I knew the ranger-slash-trainer was quite happy with his Druddigon capture, so his trip to the Outer Heavens wasn't a total loss. His Mindbender teleported us back to the Ranger Outpost.

Another National Park expedition completed, and more paperwork to file. I wasn't looking forward to doing it, but at least it kept me busy - and I'd have a reason to stay in my office while Jonathan (Buzz) and the others joked about in the, for lack of better term, "lobby", or whatever they called it.
