Individual RP: Akinai [Mt. Deckbi]

The Houndour snarled viciously and leapt forward once more, reacting before the Gengar had a chance to dodge. Fangs bared, it did exactly as the Trainer feared and bit down hard with a vicious Crunch, making the Gengar yowl with pain and nearly fall over in exhaustion. But now the dog was up close, next to the Ghost-type's eyes, and it was the perfect opportunity to use its Hypnosis. The Houndour couldn't look away; the captivating gaze of the grinning Pokemon held it hostage until its eyelids drooped, tail sagging until, inevitably, it began to topple over with drowsiness. Before it even hit the ground, however, Spectre chose the moment to land a crushing punch, holding the dog there for a moment as he drained her essence and becoming impossibly healthier. The pup flew into the mountain wall, crumpling to heap and snoring away.

Akinai chose to moment to chuck the Super ball, the light beaming the dog into its confines; it wobbled viciously a fair few times, as if the dog were trying to escape and doing its best to thrash about even in sleep, but the faint click made it apparent that the Pokemon had been caught. Zor stepped over to it and picked it up, clipping it to her belt to be turned in for registry later. She smiled at the other young woman in congratulations.

"Ah, an excellent Pokemon! And you say you want to end early? That's perfectly fine. You deserve the break anyways." With that, the two made their way back to the outpost, Akinai proudly claiming her Pokemon.
