I was walking to the docks sipping Hot chocolate when it happened.

A small green man popped into view directly in front of me. I stopped in my tracks and spilled a bit of the drink on my front due to the sudden stop.

We stared at eachother for a bit before..

Please si-!""Excuse m-"We interrupted eachother.

Awkward.

After it seemed that the man would never talk again, I decided to say something.

"Uhm, who are you?" I felt a bit better as the man brightened visibly.

"I am Dinkalinkibus, vice head elf at the north pole," he proudly proclaimed.

"BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!" I couldn't help myself. I mean, a tiny man comes up to you and says hes an elf named Dinkywinkawhatever and you're supposed to take him seriously?

Yeah, you'd be in stiches too. I spilled all of my drink on the dock and it was probably a solid thirty seconds before I got a hold of myself. But before I could, Dink (just gonna call him this to save space) interrupted me again.

"Please, sir, this is an emergency!" For some reason, whenever I hear the word emergency I perk up right away.

"Wait, whats wrong?"

"Santa's sleigh! It dropped some items and its all my fault! I was the one that botched the repair to his sleigh. And now the Pokemon are all riled up! I can't go in there!" I would have started laughing again if it wasn't for the crazed look on his face. He looked as if he was going to burst into tears any second.

"Sir, I can help. As a ranger of the National Park it is my responsibility to help those in need! I shall assist you in collecting the items for Santa's sleigh! HUZZAH!!"

After I called in sick we were ready to go. I had agreed to accompany Dink through the island to where Santa had landed for emergency repairs to his sleigh.

"Pharaoh! We're gonna need you in this one!"

"Rawr!" Bambi remarked at the cold weather. Dink stared confidently at the Hellhound and began to stride off towards the beginning of our route through the island.

We approacched the lakes and the ground was getting muddyand slippery. Dink was having some troube. AAAAnd comedy ensues.

"You know, I don't think Bambi minds if you ride on her," I commented. Bambi porceeded to throw me a look which I rebounded just as fiercely.

"Oh really? That would be lovely, and probably pretty warm too!" He hopped, and I mean literally hopped, on to Bambi's back and smiled widely.

Suddenly, there was a bubbling in the water right next to us. It began to get stronger and bigger.

"Get back this looks big!" I shouted at Bambi while reaching for Pharoah's ball. An enourmous splash exploded from the spot where it had been bubbling and flung Pharaoh's ball at the ground as I braced myself to see the monster I was about to face.

"Raaaawwr!" A Wooper, all of one foot tall, was standing in front of my giant Venusaur.

"Uhhhh Razor Leaf?"

I stared back at Dink oddly.

"Just shut up ok?"

The Razor Leaf hadn't worked out so well and Wooper had replied with a vicious mudshot to the face.. of my poor Venusaur.

"Hitem with another Razor Leaf Pharaoh! And this time don't hold back!"

Pharaoh whipped its vines back and forth as if shaking its fists to the gods. And I'm sure they got the message through some sort of Thing or whatever.

Anyway, RAzor sharp leavesflew from the flower on Pharaoh's back and cascaaded in Wooper's direction, ready to rip some flesh. Green streaks Zipped and flew around in the air until they converged on one point. Wooper's face.

THe wooper Dropped back into the lake but was super quickly replaced by a croagunk.

"eurgh! What is THAT?" Dink pointed. The Croagunk shot him a very nasty look and I decided that Croagunk wan't too intimidating. We'd have to use synthesis and then another move.

"Okay time for a combo Venusaur! Were gonna use the sunlight," the sun had peeked out of the clouds briefly," to power a Synthesis and then use the extra power to zap erm with a solarbeam!"

Pharaoh began to sparkle blue and green. Energy from the sunlight was filling him up to the brim with fighint power as his glare bgan to brighten.

Then, he suddenly began to sparkle furiously. The sparkling intensified towardss his mouth. He opened wide and let out a vicious beam of sparkling sunlight energy towards coragunk.

"I think it's time for Pharaoh to take a rest." I recalled my Venusaur and latched him onto my belt.

"Why dont you try this one out Blades!" I released Bladeds from my belt and he was ready for a fight.

"Oh that'll definitely do it," Dink interjected. He had procured a char and cookies from nowhere and was sitting next to Bambi watching the battles movie style.

"Psycho Cut, Blades!"

Blades ran and jumped into the air, whilst simultaneously slashin downward with its arm-katanas. A razor-sharb blade of psychic energy sliced through the air towards croagunk.

"Another one?" Wooper seemed to be popping out like pimples on a 9th grader.

"Let's just leaf blade em Blades."

Blades brought his hands together in a prayer pose and his fists began to emanate green energy. He suddenly opened his eyes and bounded towards Wooper, slashing 3 times once he got close enough to make contact.

Gallad e was looking a bit sleepy. I knew that if I let him stay out for one more move, he would be out like a light.

"C'mon back buddy, rest for a while. Go Pharaoh!"

My venusaur appeared again just as it had before when we last had a wooper. I knew if we were going to win this battle we needed to do something big. A combo would be coming and I already knew what it was going to be.

"Okay Pharaoh! Time for another Combo! I want you to do a Take Down/ Petal Dance combo! Were sure to win this if you pull it off!, and I believe in you!"

Pharaoh looked reassured. It heaved itself up onto its hind legs and began to dance, small red petals ploofing out from its flower. It did complex pirouettes and leaps in perfect time. It made me want to hum a tune just so it would have something to dance to. When it got close to a confused Wooper, it grabbed its han- err sides and began to dance with it. The sped at a dizzying pace until finally Pharaoh jumped high into the air, revealing a slightly dizzy wooper. VEnusaur came crashing down on top of the small blue pokemon.

"Ouch, that's gotta hurt," Dinkcringed.

We continued walking through the side ponds until we finally got to the big lake. It was huge, but I could see a forest in the distance past it. The best way to get to that forestwould be to just go around.

We walked along the side of the lake. Pharaoh didn't like walking, and who could blame him. If YOU had a body that big and legs that dumpy, you wouldn't like walking either. I retuned him and sent out Gallade just to make sure we had protection that wasn't currently being used to transport a certain elf.

"Look over there!" I shaded my eyes from the glare on the water and noticed something too. A Lapras was approaching fast and it had something lovely and sweet smelling on its shell that i couldn' quite see yet. It looked ready for battle.

"Okay, let's go for a combo Blades. Use ThunderPunch On the water and then go for a giant Leaf Blade to the kisser!"

Blades jumped into agtion, his hand glowing with an orb of electric energy. He jumped up and then smashed it into the water sending a wave of electricity in Lapras' direction. A neon green blade of green energy materialized in his hand as he jumped and flipped into the air and rolled to gain maximum damage when the Blade hit the Lapras.

The lapras jumped out of the air in time to miss the pulse of electric energy and The blade practically bounced off of the shell while Lapras was thrashing and spinning and glowing from dragon dance.

I needed to hit it hard this time but I couldnt have her dodging my attacks this time. I got it.

"Okay gallade, This time use Ice Punch on the water near Lapras to immobilize her and then use close combat on its neck. Try to get the soft parts of its body and not the shell."

Gallade jumped into action from the shore and smashed his freezing fist into the water causing it to crystallize in the nearby area. He skated across it gaining momentum as he did. Once he got close enough he shot forward with his deep orange glowing fists, going so fast they were blurred streaks.

"Gallade! Quick dissapear with teleport and then hit it when she least expects it with Night Slash!"

Gallade Put his hands together and began to chant. He bgan to glow pink and suddenly vanished with a splash of pink light. Lapras was confused. It wasn't moving to see if it could predict where Gallade was going to end up. Suddenlly, Gallade appeared on top of the Lapras' chell, his arms imbued with black energy. He went in for the move...
