I called out my Pokemon to repeat our movement and the role of each of them in the areas. Gardevoir was a little sad when I told her she was a back up and that I hoped we wouldn't need her help. We were in Docks preparing to move to the Botnic Gardens but first I wanted to ensure everyone that the trip will be safe.

"Don't worry and do your best! I promise to get you all a big cake when we finish."

It was rather cold so I hid all of them except Dragonite in their Pokeballs. They were happy to hide from the snow and wind so they weren't complaining like usually. Dragonite warmed herself with sparks from her antennae so I was the only one left who was cold. I tightened my scarf and made sure all buttons on my coat were buttoned and checked the big white beard I had on me for no obvious reason. But at least it made my Pokemon chuckle that made it a bit warmer than normally.

I looked around the place but all I could see was white cover. I wasn't surprised because I heard that Docks were hit by a snowstorm the day before. The only thing I could do was to hope that it would avoid me because I truly hated snow. I looked at my map and pointed at the direction of Botanic Gardens. The sound of it made me hope it would be a bit warmer there. Dragonite nodded in agreement and flew after me becasue she didn't want to touch the cold snow with her feet.

We reached Botanic Gardens but, unfortunatelly, it was as cold as in Docks. Dragonite was tired of flying so decided to walk despite the snow and she kept using sparks form her antenae to keep warm. I wished I could do the same when I was watching her because I was really cold even though my coat was warm. This is why I had always hated cold. It didn't matter how warm my clothes were for some strange reason I always got cold after some time.

I was deep in my thoughts when suddenly my dragon type stopped and pointed at something. I looked around and noticed a small green dot in distance. Dragonite quickly started sying something but it was pointless because not only I couldn't understand her a word, I was too cold to realise what could she possibly mean.

Suddenly the green spot started moving towards us slowly as if it was having trouble walking because of the snow. I forgot about the dangers wild Pokemon possessed in present and walked towards the small green thing. Dragonite started shaking her head and she was trying to tell me something by moving her hands wildly but I ignored her and kept walking. I came close enough to see that the green thing was actually a Pokemon and a rather cute one too. It was a Bulbasaur and it had a strange look on its face I couldn't describe.

I was a few meters from the Pokemon when it gave me an evil grin. Dragonite grabbed me and flew father away from it because she felt it was about to attack. She shook with me and I realised that the Pokemon were dangerous and agressive at the moment so it was really foolish to go this close to them.

"Alright, Dragonite, the only thing we can do that we encountered it is to chase it away." Dragonite nodded but also gave me a confused look that was saying: "Do you expect me to attack that shorty?" I sighed because she always gave me that look when she was about to face something not even half her height. e couldn't expect her to go all out on the Pokemon but I knew she wouldn't let me down.

"I know it's small and probably weak but we only need to chase it away. We won't hurt it much. We just need to show it an example of our power to make sure that it won't fight us again." I hit a weak spot and I knew Dragonite was ready to battle even if she used only part of her power.

"Let's start with something weak. Show it a Twister!" Dragonite started flapping her wings creating a small typhoon first. Then it started to grow into a big tornado that took snow into it. It looked more like a Twister of snow than a normal one. There was more and more snow as it was getting closer to Bulbasaur until it looked like a column of snow. I hoped the Bulbasaur wouldn't take it personally.

The small Pokemon flew high into the air and fell back to the ground. At first I thought it had enough but then it stood up, obviously angry. It shook off the fall and countered with a move of its own. Faster than I could notice what was going on, several leaves hit Dragonite from everywhere. The Bulbasaur was giggling at the look. Dragonite fell to her knees, holding her hands in from of her head in order to block those leaves from hitting a weak spot. The leaves kept hitting her and when the Bulbasaur had enough fun, they just fell to ground as if nothing had happened.

I wanted to run to Dragonite with a Potion but she stood up and chuckled. She turned her head to me and smiled to let me know that the move did a lot less damage that it looked. Dragonite was probably more confused by the way the move attacked than stunned by its power. Surely, she didn't have a chance to get hit by something like that often so it surprised her.

Bulbasaur didn't look happy about the reaction of my Pokemon and growled. It was obvious that Twister did much more damage than Razor Leaf adn that pissed Bulbasaur off.

"Well, then. It doesn't look like it will keep battling us much longer now that it saw the power difference. Why don't we try to hit it with something a bit stronger to chase it away?" I asked Dragonite because I knew she wouldn't want to hurt the Pokemon much so I wanted her approval of a stronger move. To my surprise Dragonite nodded, obviously happy that all we had to do was chasing it away.

"Well then, let's use Slam!" I ordered surprised by my own liveliness. battles could always fire me up and it was no different this time. Despite the cold and snow all around me I felt really good when I battled.

Dragonite flew towards the Pokemon at full speed, stopping when she was right in front of it. Bulbasaur seemed to be surprised by her fast movement but it didn't have much time to react even when she was so close to it. Dragonite spread her arms and legs and let herself fall on Bulbasaur freely. She closed her eyes in order to make sure she wouldn't unintentionally stop herself from falling on the Pokemon so I hoped Bulbasaur would get no chance to abuse it.

After Dragonite Slammed herself into the Bulbasaur and flew up to check on it, it slowly crawled away from her in fear she would attack again. I knew Dragonite felt really bad about it. She flew back to me and looked really down. I patted her on her head and praised her while the Bulbasaur and walking away pretending to be invisible. Dragonite felt a bit better when she saw that it was able to walk without many problems after that attack. She waved at it even though it wasn't looking our way.

"Don't worry, I'm sure the Pokemon isn't angry with you. Now it will avoid strangers and won't come to more harm." I smiled at Dragonite trying to cheer her up. She was really empathic Pokemon so she didn't like hurting her oponents too much. However, she smiled back when she heard my words so it obviously succeeded. I let her choose the path because she did great during the last battle and we continued.

We passed many small hills of snow that were made by some Pokemon practising Dig or soemthing similiar but we didn't see any Pokemon. It was certainly strange for a place like this but I thought that it must be difficult to walk around when one can get attacked without warning. I was thinking about reasons for the aggressivity of the Pokemon when I trpped. I was surprised by this because I didn't know why that happened when there was snow everywhere. But when I looked closer at the snow hill I tripped on I realised that it wasn't white like it's surroundings. It looked grey. Dragonite started pulling me away. Once again, she realised the danger sooner than me. I blamed the cold again. That thing turned out to be a Pokemon that was sleeping when I kicked it. Not literally but it must have felt that way. It rose really angry by the way I woke him up.

Dragonite didn't give it a second thought and released Dragon Rush at it, trying to get it as far as possible form me. She created a light blue ball of energy in her mouth. It started shinning too much to look at it directly so I had to cover my eyes. When it was powerful enough, the shine stopped which indicated that it was caused by storing energy. Dragonite spit it out and it flew really fast towards the angry Castform.

The Castform got directly hit by the Dragon Rush what sent it flying backwards. After somersaulting and crashing into a hill of snow, it got up obviously angry. It was shivering from the cold snow it was covered in so it wasn't surprising that it used Sunny Day to warm itself a little. Sunny Day affected the weather around us so I felt a bit warmer as well. I praised Dragonite for her fast action even though it looked worried about the little Pokemon.

Castform growled and came closer to us indicating Dragonite that it wished for a battle. My pokemon didn't have much of a choice but I decided to be gentle to the little Pokemon and use something weak against it. It didn't look like it was ready to take much more damage so I thought that 1 or 2 moves should be enough to chase it away.

Castform underwent a change into its Sunny Form. It looked as if it was evolving and I would think so if I didn't know better. It started shinning bright yellow and changed shape into something that looked like a sun on a small cloud with the sun forming a protection for its head.

It opened its mouth and created a ball of fire in front of it unleashing it at Dragonite. She got hit directly even though she could have dodged it. I was wondering whether she did it ot make Castform feel better. I just sighed at her nature because it was bothersome. But I understood how she felt so I wanted to go with something that wouldn't cause much damage to Castform.

"Castform is a fire type, so Fire Punch shouldn't do much damage. Let's try it! Use Agility to get close to it and the Fire Punch!" Dragonite nodded and prepared for a fire attack of her own. Flame appeared on her right palm and continued to cover the rest of her arm. She spread her wings and shot towards Castform at great speed, even greater than usually. She didn't stop for a second fully prepared to hit it sooner than it would know what it was.

The small, now, fire Pokemon got hit by the Fire Punch and flew back. Dragonite and me waited for it to return but it didn't seem like it wanted to fight more. My friend gave me a confused look and I nearly started laughing because I knew she felt touched by the sudden leaving of the Pokemon. She was looking at me adn at where Castform previously was with an upset look. I came to it and patted it on her back.

"Don't worry, I'm sure it left because it had enough battling." That didn't help much but I at least forced her to continue walking convincing her that the Pokemon wouldn't return. She was hesitant to leave still looking at the stop where it was the last time but in the end she did what I asked. When we were continuing on out path, she was still looking back hoping it would return and finish the battle. I nearly chuckled by the thought that she was heartbroken because the Castform left their battle so fast.

Soon, we came across a small solourful Pokemon, my Pokedex identified as Togepi. Dragonite felt a bit insulted so she let me know that she didn't care about this little Pokemon.
"Use Twister and when it gets throw into the air knowck it down with Aqua Tail!" The plan was simple. Dragonite would start flapping her wings to create a strong Twister, then she would wait for it to hit and fly to the top of it waiting for Togepi. A drop of water would appear at the top of her tail and it would slide down to her back crating a spiral of water. She would later use it on the Togepi when it would get thrown in front of her to finish the combo. I was hoping it would work out alright when dragon started flapping her wings to create a small version of Twister. When it was getting bigger, I could feel strong wind coming from it. Dragonite's pride got hurt a lot in the last battle so she wasn't trying to use only part of her power. When the Twister was finished, she sent it towards the Pokemon with the last strong movement of her wings.

Fortunatelly, the combo worked exactly how we wanted and Togepi hit the ground with a splash of water fromt he Aqua Tail. It looked really damaged and it didn't seem to last much longer so I hoped it would run away after our next move. However, Togepi had something prepared for us. Before we noticed it, a giant ball of light flew towards Dragonite and caused her to fall on ground. Togepi chuckled evily when Dragonite was trying to stand up and was obviously dizzy.

She shook it off and was ready to continue battling but Togepi had different plans for her. It looked at her with big puppy eyes and winked what made her forget it was the oponent and she didn't feel like using her full power anymore. Togepi kept staring at her this way for a while and then stopped pretending to be hurt but I was able to see it's evil grin. I was sure Dragonite didn't see it but I could do nothing about it because she was too stubborn.

"Come on, Dragonite! Use Wing Attack!" I tried to finish this battle fast so that she would realise that this was not the time for hesitating. The weather was colder than before and I hoped we would continue fast so that walking could warm me up a little.

Dragonite wasn't too sure about attacking the little creature but she knew that we had long way to go and this wasn't the right time to stop. She spread her wings and they started glowing bright white. Then she flew towards the little Pokemon at full speed and her wings were leaving a trail like a comet. She would unleash the energy by flapping when she got close enough to it creating powerful razors that can cut anything.

Togepi looked to be hurt a lot my Dragonite's last move and it didn't feel like battling anymore. It started slowly sneaking away but Dragonite decided to stop it. I managed to hold her up enough for Togepi to leave from our sight so she was angry with me afterwards. That didn't really help me because not only I was cold, Dragonite refused to talk with me and that made me feel even worse.

"Look, Dragonite, these Pokemon aren't aggresive because they want to. Something is wrong here and I'm certain they leave the battle becasue they realise that it's pointless. It would be unfair not to let them go." Dragonite probably understood that a little because she started talking to me again but was still angry. She wasn't used to battles where her oponents simply ran away form the battlefield as if nothing had happened. She maybe didn't like hurting her oponent much but she enjoyed battling strong oponents because she could use all of her power without worrying about them.

It didn't take long time for us to encounter another of those wild Pokemon. This one was a Grovyle and it had a vile look in its eyes and a scary grin on its face. It ran towards us when it saw us so we didn't have much time to think and I called the first move I thought would be effective against it.

"Dragonite, use Fire Punch!" Dragonite closed her hand to a fist and bended it in right angle next to her body. A ball of fire appeared on her palm that later continued to her elbow where it stoped. Half of her arm was competely covered in fire. Afterwards, she spread her wings and flew towards the Grovyle with her hand prepared to hit it. She flew so fast that the fire nearly disappeared from her palm but her energy was strong enough to keep it there.

 

Grovyle watched the huge dragon Pokemon flew right towards him with his fist glowing bright red. The Grovyle waited and when Dragonite was 5 foot away it leaped into the air. However Dragonite managed to smack the legs of the Grovyle and the Grovyle fell onto Dragonite's back. It stood up and preformed Leaf Blade before jumping off.

Not only Dragonite didn't completely hit Grovyle, it even managed to use his attack against him by jumping on his back and attacking itself. Dragonite fell to the ground but only after Grovyle jumped away. She stood back up really fast, prepared to continue with the battle but I knew she was hurt a lot. I wanted to have this battle over fast.

"Dragonite, use Agility to get close to Grovyle and then another Fire Punch!" Draqgonite spread her wings and shot towards Grovyle at great speed. She didn't fly directly towards it but rather in a zigzag in order to confuse it. While she was abusing the raise of her speed, she created another fireball on her fist and spread to the rest of her arm faster than usually because of the speed she was flying at. I was surprised that the flame wasn't put out but considering that she created it, it was probably kept there by her energy.

When Dragonite succesfully hit Grovyle with Fire Punch, it looked like the Pokemon had enough and decided to leave. Dragonite looked more and more tired every battle and I wasn't surprised. She had plenty of battles in a row so I was sure that I'll let her rest when we leave this area.

However, before we could do that we met another wild Pokemon that obviously wanted to battle. It was Zigzagoon a small normal type that looked anything but scary but I didn't want to underestimate it. It jumped out of its den and started growling at us. I was surprised that despite this weather it managed to keep living in its den.

"Dragonite, use Dragon Rush!" Dragonite flew towards the normal type at full speed and a light blue aura of energy started creating around her. It grew a tail like a comet and soon Dragonite was cometpletely covered in it. It looked like water but it was pure energy. After a whle, it begun shinning light blue and I wasn't able to see Dragonite anymore only her outline.
