your comment made you more suspicious, smiles.

If you had truly seen the spreadsheet, surely you'd know roleblocking him would hamper the village effort?

Ugh, I feel bad for doing this but it's our only lead ;-; I'm pretty sure we still have a mislynch so it shouldn't matter if it's wrong, but i'm not sure ;-; I'll probably decide soon.

    EDIT: Vote: Smiles

Re: URPG PokeMafia IV [DAY 8]

This was back when we were still under the impression that he was mafia.

    YES

I don't know why we're still thinking I'm mafia when I've already proven I'm town. No more of this list that ATL provided or the town list (if you think I'm mafia and I saw the list then there's definitely another mafia on that list, ya feel?), the only real list you have is the list of people who are still alive -

Monbrey - always has been suspicious, is still suspicious
    Fawkes - sketchy
Sky Lark - proved his role by being watched, trust!
American Tree Frog - has very deftly avoided being lynched thrice
Ace Trainer Liam - switches sides all the time, prolly mafia spy
    SLC - hnnnn
derian - hasn't posted at allll
Smiles - again, I roll block for the town!

    y'all so fake!!

    MAKE MY DEATH GRUESOME, FENG.

Mmm. I'd like to delay lynching Smiles - at least for a day.

Re: URPG PokeMafia IV [NIGHT 8]

I'll make this as little gruesome as possible.

    Smiles got hanged, yo.

    IT IS NOW NIGHT 8.

NIGHT 8 will last for 48 hours and end at 0:00 Pacific Time DST (UTC-7), 3:00 Eastern Time DST (UTC-4), 8:00 British Summer Time (UTC+1), and 16:00 Australian Eastern Standard Time (UTC+10).

Re: URPG PokeMafia IV [DAY 8]

The sun rose. The town laid desolate.

The townspeople constantly looked at the flagpole in the village center as a beacon of hope. They truly thought that the mafia would finally be eliminated.

But there was no hope, for truth revealed itself flickering from the top of the flagpole.

The surviving civilians saw a gruesome sight in the morning -

Taking place of the flag was the bloody, crudely-trimmed skin flaps of Monbrey, the Slowking.

At the bottom of the flagpole was a flier written in blood:

There was no hope left. As the remaining townspeople fell to their knees, three dark figures stood before them.

Days later, the town was in smoldering ruin...

    And then... there were none.

    GAME OVER
    MAFIA WINS

Alright, first I'll reveal the mafia members. There were four. Three survived until the end of the game while one (Felly) was lynched.

In the end, there were 3 mafia players and 3 non-mafia players, which meant virtual victory for the mafia and loss for the town.

First, I'll reveal the surviving mafia members:

Second, I will reveal the three remaining non-mafia players that survived until the end of the game:

Finally, here's the link to the mafia game spreadsheet:
    URPG PokeMafia IV SPREADSHEET
Sheet 1 contains roles and statuses, sheet 2 contains night and day actions.

My commentary and opinions soon to come.

Would have been a better game if we hadn't hit cop and nurse in the first 2 turns out of pure luck

AHH I should have voted on the day I died! I just felt too betrayed and didn't see the greater purpose behind what I could have done. dsfkjsdfkj this psychological warfare was hardcore. Good game!

Anyway, that was a lot of fun! Thank you, Feng! (=

Alright, here's just a simple analysis from me:

The mafia was lucky as hell. They were able to kill two of the strongest power roles in the game. One, by guessing the best player @Soulmaster but then getting lucking on @Dinobot. From that point on, they were pulling the strings of the game by forming alliances with unsuspecting townies. Seemed almost effortless how the mafia was able to use fake roles without being caught.

The village was rather uncoordinated and unlucky. Rather than have a confirmed process of gradually forming a "clear" pool of innocent players, some of the players immediately sided with others. The mafia probably disguised themselves well enough to be accepted by the villagers, or the villagers were too lazy to check on them. The townspeople had a good amount of power roles, but I feel that some of the players were too hesitant to use them (or they were inactive)... such as the vigilante, judge, and town drunk.

In the end, it was the blind trust between the village and mafia-sided moles plus a little bit of inactivity which lead to the village's downfall. Thanks for playing, and once again, congratulations mafia on the victory.
