URPG Exhibition Battles

It's something every kid dreams of. Playing under the lights with thousands (or tens) of screaming fans cheering you on. Now you have the oppurtunity to make this dream come true from the comfort of your own computer chair. All those sweeps that got stored away on the ref's PE2K log, or those epic comebacks that were downplayed in the ref's log, forget about them. Now is your chance to showcase your skills for everyone to see. Ladies and gentlemen, its time for URPG Exhibition Battling.

So yeah, Exhibition Battles are back. It'd be awesome if we managed get one battle a week. After each battle, I'll write up a detailed review of what happened so that the people who missed the battle can experience it.

Here's the deal, everyone who signed up in the previous thread will be carried over to this one. If you want your name off the list, VM/PM/IM me. Also, I will actively pursue people who's names aren't on this list if it would make a great battle.

Chris, Pidge, ST, you guys are some of the best battlers out there and I hope you guys are interested in participating.

On to the fun stuff! Picking the battles and their rules. If we really want, we could do some crazy stuff like doubles/triples/tags/funky rules/gym vs gym, but I think the best way to kick off URPG Exhibition Battles is a classic 6v6 between some of the greatest.

Haze vs Xali (Champion Rematch)
Xali vs Pidge (Champion Rematch)
Anything involving these guys or TeD, Jr, Ataro, Chris, and ST.

But enough rambling, what battles do you guys want to see happen?

What do you guys think about 3PM EST this Saturday for the first battle? I also want to have one the following Saturday as a preshow for movie night.

Well, it's official ladies and gentlemen. Saturday night (US EST) will be the first ever URPG Exhibition Battle. We will watch the legendary former champion Haze battle against his good friend and retired Elite 4 member The Jr. Trainer. Two of the greatest battlers of the last 5 years clash in a full 6-on-6 battle!

But it's not just for show. The fun starts Saturday afternoon! There will be a mini tournament of 3v3 battles, and the top 4 finishers will get to battle your beloved Head Ref and Elite 4 Member We Taste Pies... in a series of 4 consecutive 3v3 battles for the next Exhibition Battle! Oh, you thought that was it? Nah. There's gonna be FFA, also! I know, I can't contain my excitement either! So don't miss out ladies and gents. You may be able to catch the highlights of the battle, but you have to be there to participate in the other fun events!

If you want an early entry in the mini tournament, you can start signing up right now!

And no, THERE'S STILL MORE! Some of us don't really like battling... but we all love free money. Once the matches are set for the mini tournament, all non-participants will have a chance to fill out a bracket, and if it's dead on, you win $5,000!

The only question left is, why wouldn't you show up!?
