I don't think the URPGers would get bored with roasting the volunteer, I mean, after all, they did vote for that member as the one to be roasted so they should have a load of, uh, things to say about him/her.

 

I kinda see this being on par with the quote thread or similar things that are run - just there for a bit of fun.

In all seriousness, I'd be happy to support this if you want to start an official thread for it. I'm still not sure I like the idea of prizes, it seems more like it should just be for everyone's entertainment, I'd rather not have everyone trying too hard to make fun of someone just to earn a prize. Real jokes are better. Besides, without prizes you don't even really need an official's approval - just make a thread. I'll keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get out of hand - I am actually here pretty much every day - and besides, with at least some degree of common sense towards what is/isn't appropriate moderation shouldn't really be required. Just keep BMGF's rules in mind when making jokes, that's my only concern.
