Post here when you have a problem when...

• You challenge a gym leader and he/she declines your challenge and the gym leader won't discuss a date and time to battle.
• The gym leader won't schedule a reasonable or prompt time.
• You PM/VM a gym leader about setting up a date and time to battle and they do not respond or attempt to set up one.
• You are experiencing any other problems about getting to challenge a gym leader.
• You are a gym leader and want to fill in additional details and/or defend yourself.
• You are a gym leader and won't be available for some time. However, someone still has the right to report you during that time if they want to battle your gym.

Include as many details as possible, such as:

• what date and time you challenged
• what reason the gym leader gave you for declining
• how long you have been trying to get a battle
• how long it took for the leader to respond
• the last time you battled that leader
• whether you attempted contacting the leader through PM or VM if you can't find them on AIM
• whether you already have the gym leader's badge or not

Edit your post if you do eventually get to battle, saying you did, but don't remove anything.

Please keep this thread serious. Also, keep the reporting and defending free of hostility. Try just stating the facts and avoid unnecessary words. Gym leaders: Remember, just because someone reports you doesn't mean they don't like you.

The LO of a gym leader will be responsible for managing evasive gym leaders. Decisions are based on their judgments. Most likely a few reports in a long time span won't matter to them. However, many reports in a short time span will.

This thread also applies to elite positions.

 

Can I just post to say that I will be closed to challenges till 5th gen has been released for a few days in my country..so probably the next week...

once I figure out what the main mons English names and types are, I'll re-open...this is in the interest of providing a faster and less frustrating battle for both the challenger and the ref.

Told him to challenge me at around 7:00 PM on the same day, but he never did.

 

Last time he battled with it was less than a month ago, on Feb. 23, just saying.

Over the next week I will be away from the main computer as I am staying over at a relatives house for a week. I still have access to AIM on my phone but won't be able to focus on a battle as much as I would on my main computer. This means I won't take Gym battles frequently, if you see on my status that I will be taking challengers then feel free to ask for a challenge. I do still have access to the internet so I can do Forum battles f you can't wait the week

I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, I just don't want to be sued if I decline a challenge.

All-Star/Chasey of Violet Gym.
I have requested a battle i think twice now. Both times didnt get a reply. I would get the exact date but my PC somehow wiped all of my IM logs .-. I would contact via VM but Chasey has not been online in a month, as shown in these. I have also not seen Chasey on AIM for a while.

Also in the two months Chasey has had Violet he has had 1 challenger(or atleast according to his Stats Page)

- I have tried on several occasions to Challenge this gym and Leader. I mostly get no replies or he makes up a lie and just leaves. He even said before I ain't staying on the Computer long, yet he was in a FFA at the time... It's getting ridiculous. He even ignored my Vistor Message whilst he was Posting in the Nukem Thread.
- I do not have the Badge and would like to try. I mean come on they only get 2 wildcards!

what reason the gym leader gave you for declining: I have to go, I have to go, I'm reffing, I am gym battling and have to go afterwards, no response EDIT: (Went offline, still no response)

how long it took for the leader to respond: Ignored til I IM'd privately, Didn't, a few mins, a few mins, no response

Furthermore, I seem the be the 3rd person thats reported him and this post the 4th complain about him in the thread (25% of the responses to said thread). He should be given a warning or even removed from his post because this is (to quote Chris) "Getting ridiculous".

The battle is awfully close to completion, both of us being on our last 'mons, but it's been over a month since he last logged onto BMG, and since he was mentioned in the battle before the next time he had logged on, I'd assume that he'd have at least been notified of it for the 2 weeks from that point on that he was active.
