Refer a Friend Program?

Need more members? then maybe a refer a friend program will be enough incentive to get more members. It works by having new people come and ask for a starter and if anyone referred them then they list that in the post. that person who found the member gets either money or an item from the mart, of something else. Maybe the new person gets a gift too???

obviously there are ways of cheating that need to be taken into consideration....and prevented(ex: someone can make a new account and pretend they are new, so they get the prize)

For real though, I wouldn't consider telling any of my friends I play Pokemon on the Internet... Plus, it isn't really necessary when we're in the midst of expanding. Still, it's not like this does any harm, and I suppose a couple of the losers here have friends that may enjoy playing Pokemon online with their buddies as well as making new friends

Dude I have gotten two people to join I know irl.

FIRST TIME. They stalked Monbrey and Maverick incessantly for months. That's my job, athank you very much.

SECOND TIME. Started a bitch fight with Jr and ST. I think she might've won, if you can call a winner in that sorta thing.

Thirdly, I think we need to model ourselves more after Fizzy Bubbles. They are a perfect example of how to get more members.

BMG already has a referal system in place, and sockpuppet accounts are strictly not allowed, so I don't think it's a question of cheating the system too much.
