Do a tournament where inbetween turns, you ask for song lyrics or something and the first person to name the song and the band gets +2 in a stat of their choosing for that turn. AND DO IT AT A REASONABLE TIME IN MY TIMEZONE.

 

Umm, how about a regular tournament with Wonder Shooter rules? Or even just a Rotation/Triple battle tournament?

 

I think Wonder Shooter is interesting and might make for a good tournament.

 

I propose a simple tournament. One that consist of players showing their true skill, no silly 3vs3 battles, or even 4vs4 battles, but battles that consist of six (6) Pokémon each player’s side … starting in the first round.

Each participant would pick twelve (12) Pokémon to use throughout the tournament, similar to the picking of an Elite 4 or Gym Leader’s team, obviously all the Pokémon would need to be owned by the trainer. Or as Pidge suggested (scroll down), we could pick any Pokémon from our stats; either way would work fine.

Every tournament seems to have some kind of crazy or wacky theme, this tournament would show who some of the most skilled in the URPG are.

There could be a tournament much like Kumquat's rules, lacking the double battle part of it, each trainer could choose one Pokemon to use for each type and the ref would roll types of Pokemon for each trainer to use, depending on how many Pokemon each side would have. Would have to be higher than 3vs3, though, so it isn't as much depended on luck.

I like the regular tournament idea, but I disagree with being limited to a pool of 12 Pokemon. You should be able to just use whatever is in your stats.

Gauntlet style. Everyone will face the people in the tournament and keep going until they lose. Then the next person faces and so on. The longest streak comes in first, and the second, etc.

A tourny where you don't choose the Pokemon you use; RNG does. However, instead of a the-RNG-picks-Pokemon-you-use-out-of-the-649-Pokemon tourny, the Pokemon used have to be in your stats. Basics can be called out if you have them.

 

How about you get to choose your opponents pokemon that they use? that way ir sgows who can think about types and the other persons fighting style?

 

Tag team tourney. You partner up (or get randomly rolled?) with someone else and battle in double battles, 2 mons each. For example, if I got rolled to pair with Pidge, we'd have to do a 4v4 double battle against another pair.
