You might wanna check the log from my ffa last night then. Some people asked if they could use them, I told them no, but stupid people backed up the others and said "NO GO AHEAD AND USE THEM THERE'S NO PROBLEMS DERP DERP"

You can keep it in, you just can't use it until this event ends.

 

Well, can we take the items we are gifting to people out so we don't get confused? Or would that get us in trouble for not having the thing we are giving in our stats?

 

Ya, if you already TM'd the items or something to your Pokemon, remove them and put them in your bag. Put some notification saying something about you can't use it. You could also remove the item entirely from your bag until the gift session ends and you can claim.

You can do that if you want, really it doesn't make a difference as long as you can prove you bought it.

 

Feng, you're answering the wrong question. He's asking about mons and items that have been gifted, not received. And I'm either in a lot of trouble or the answer is yes, when you gift a Pokemon you remove it from your stats even if the Gift Station isn't over yet.

GO TELL STUPID PEOPLE TO SHUT UP. The rule is there because you can only accept four gifts total. If people use a few of their gifts for a week or so, then get three new gifts and ditch the old ones (or, even, keep the old ones), the system gets messy and becomes pretty easy to cheat.

 

I would think you would be able to use your pokemon that you're giving as a gift before the gift station ends? I mean if they don't get it till then, then you should still have it right?
