Summer Auction/Raffle 2013

SUMMER AUCTION AND RAFFLE OF 2013​

Welcome, one and all, to the grand event of the summer! It's time for everybody to start saving up their money and preparing for an all-out battle-to-the-death for some Pokemon! This ruins relationships faster than Mario Party, so begin readying yourselves for the sweat and tears to come!!

For all of those who don't know, the URPG hosts live auctions for certain special events. During these auctions, all sorts of goodies are up for grabs - Pokemon, TM cases, special items, you name it! However, keep in mind that everybody else is also fighting for these items, and they won't be so easy to get rid of! The highest bid always gets the item, and there is no limit to the maximum price. It's a complete blood-bath and has the potential to be insanely fun.

Rules:

1. You must be a member of the URPG to participate.

2. In order to participate in the auction, you must have an AIM account. Everybody wishing to participate in the live auction must post their AIM screennames. The auction will be held in a separate Blast chat, so please post in this thread if you desire to join.

3. All bids are taken seriously. All bids are irreversible. If you bid more money than you own, even if it's only a joke, there can and will be consequences. Especially if you actually win the item in question. Just don't be that guy.

4. You can and will be kicked from the blast chat if you are a public disturbance. Just behave well, and you should be fine.

5. Any tears publicly shed will invoke immediate humiliation from your peers. This is for your own good.


The auction will take place on Friday, July 19th (in the Western Hemisphere). It begins at 6:00 PM UTC-7 (Mountain Time), which translates to 5:00 PM UTC-8 (PST), 8:00 PM UTC-5 (EST), and 1:00 AM UTC-0. Here is a great resource to use if you're unsure of your timezone. I apologize for any inconveniences this may cause, but it's the only time in the foreseeable future when this event can be hosted.



Another part of this event - the raffle! Several undisclosed prizes will be delivered out randomly to a lucky member of URPG! Just post in this thread at any point in the following week (you have until the live auction has ended) and you will be entered into the raffle. Everybody gets one entry, so there's an equal chance of winning throughout! You don't even have to attend the live auction to enter the raffle - simply post in this thread and you have a chance of winning some fabulous things!

EDIT: Actually, I think my inital conversion was wrong (I based it off the UTC-0 time, which I think is on Saturday, not Friday July 19th xD) so I might be able to attend.
