Salutes and Cheers

Greetings URPGers.

We continue to advance towards the opening of The Pokemon World branch. As you may have noted, several Expansion Committees have been set up and many have begun preparations.

None of this would be possible without the dedicated members of the leadership team and I'd like to take this time to acknowledge a few remarkable individuals.


A Salute to those who Served:

DarkUmbreon - DU has long served as a dedicated and capable member of the URPG. His intelligence and leadership helped guide us through some of the rougher patches in our history. While I regret his studies keep him away from our community, I know that the medical world has gained an excellent and amazing doctor. DU, thank you for being there for us.

iReign - iReign is perhaps one of the smartest and friendliest people I know. The fact that he's also a very talented member is only an added bonus. A veteran in his own right, iReign has used his years in the URPG to bring forth the best in people and help us achieve success in areas that needed work. You could always depend on him and at the end of the day, that made all the difference. I hope he finds success in whatever he does.

Kai-Mei - Sadly, Kai's life has become quite busy and she is unable to uphold her URPG duties and responsibilities. So it is with sadness that I've accepted her resignation. Though she has only served for a short while, her presence and opinions were always helpful in deciding the issues of the day. And even before she became an Official, she set out to help the URPG and improve it to the best of her ability. Her dedication and courtesy set her apart from others. We will miss her.

Pidge - One of the oldest members of the URPG, Pidge is also one of the most dedicated. A veteran member, a powerful battler, a masterful ref, and esteemed leader, Pidge actively took a hand in ensuring that our community continued to prosper. He was never afraid to make a decision that would benefit us all and his successes became our successes. There is not a person among us who has not been affected by the great work he has done here. We are grateful for his service.

Taras Bulba - Taras was one of the first URPGers to join the URPG and it was immediately obvious that he had talent. One of the best Graders, he quickly rose to prominence and we depended not only on his grading capabilities, but his leadership in and outside the Stories section. Capable as a battler and a solid member, Taras demonstrated that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. He shall be missed.

Trainer17 - If you ever talked with Sam, you might instantly notice his cheerful demeanor and friendly personality. For as long as I've known him, Sam has always offered to help out with whatever needed work and tackled problems with a dedicated zeal. Unafraid to try new ideas, Sam charged forward to make a positive difference in the community. I hope that once he finishes his military service, he shall return to us again.


A Cheer for those who Lead:

Alaskapigeon - I think everyone knows Alaska by now and she certainly knows everyone. Regardless of her past, Alaska has embarked on a path of good work and service, striving to advance the community forward. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to work hard has helped the URPG over the last several months. I am honored to promote her to the position of Official and welcome her to the team.

AmericanTreeFrog - ATF has been a URPG member for a long time now. And honestly, I have no idea why he wasn't a Moderator before now. As Head of Contests and a great person in general, he's clearly qualified for the position. Even now, he strives to bring increased activity to the section and prepares it for the coming expansion. Like his brother, he is an outstanding leader and a good man. I'm proud to promote him to the position of Moderator.

EmBreon - I don't know how many of you remember Emma, but she was a Moderator in the URPG long before I was one. Her dedication to Stories matches that of George, our former Second and she always was a notable character here. She served with distinction during Jack's term and helped move the URPG forward during her service here. I'm overjoyed that she has returned to our fold and continues to serve the community to the best of her ability. I promote her to the position of Official.

Fierce Deity - Another longtime member, FD is well-known in the Battles section. His knowledge, experience, and skills have benefited the URPG and we've depended on his consistent efforts to improve the community. While the Pokemon communities have changed cyclically through time, FD has remained a steady rock upon which we can rely. And that's why I'm happy to welcome him to the team and promote him to the position of Official.

Monbrey - Monbrey was the first URPG member who joined on Bulbagarden to advance to the position of Official. And it's pretty easy to see why. Monbrey is a natural leader. One of the most capable members, he can handle any task in the URPG and carries it out with dedication and a strong attention to detail. A capable communicator and a intelligent individual, Monbrey is someone who you can trust for addressing difficult problems. And he'll do it with a smile. I am proud to promote him to the position of Moderator.

Roulette - When you meet Roulette, you take an instant liking to him. And it's easy to see why. He's friendly and smart, knows how the URPG works, and actively works to bring harmony to the community. Roulette believes in a prosperous future for the URPG and believes in our family of friends. Dependable, Roulette is not afraid to work to help out members in need, all while maintaining a level of maturity and courtesy. I look forward to working with him and I am happy to promote him to the position of Official.



These, ladies and gentlemen, are the leaders of our Ultra RPG. By promoting them, I ask that they do their best to serve the community with honor and distinction.

Congrats! I am proud of you guys, you most certainly deserved this. I believe that you all will make URPG a much better place. I am glad you are now on the team and look forward to working with you! I love you guys!
