WELL HELLO THERE. This here’s a dandy little trivia quiz that may be completed and exchanged for pixilated money.

How do I send in my answers?

Please send a PM titled “April Quiz 2010” to me. Only send the question numbers and the answers, please, to avoid any confusion caused by including the full text of the question. Your quizzes must be submitted by the end of April 29th. Expect results (the actual answers to the questions, in addition to rankings) around the first of May. The money you earn will be PM’d directly to you, not posted in this topic.

*If you are a new user and do not yet have fifteen posts, you will be unable to send a PM. In this case, post here, and we'll work something out.

In the interests of bumping my post count up - do deleted posts count? Say, could I reply five times, then delete them, and still be counted as having 15 posts? I don't want to just spam a thread with my 'ego' stroking, but most threads I don't really have anything to contribute in.

Actually, it was two days ago

What I did was just post 4 messages saying "This message is only temporary and will be deleted soon," or words to that effect. Get to 15 posts, send the PM, then delete the posts. Your post count will go back down.

Also, each post will have to be slightly different, as the forum stops you multi-posting multiple posts with identical text within 5 minutes of each other.

 

Actually, I'm doing better than I'd thought - I think I'm up to 13 posts with this one, so by the end of the day I should have it. Thanks for the tip, though.

 

I don't yet have 15 posts, I may do that. In which case, here goes: (If there's nothing following this, then I've already finished and deleted them. xD)

Seriously? No. You don't do that. BMG isn't my home forum but I seriously doubt that you can get away with posting spam here just so you can raise your post count and get money from a quiz. I'm sure there's a chat thread somewhere that you can spam instead. @[email protected]

The caveat is that they then immediately delete them, which lowers their post count again.

I more or less agree with you, though; we have 2 weeks to get the answers in, if we can't log that many posts in that time, are we serious enough to deserve winnings?

 

Err, it's a matter of wanting to send them in now, rather than when I won't have time. I'll be wanting to spend my time battling when there are refs on, so I want to do the quiz while they're not on. xD

Ok, guys. Seriously, now, if you want to be able to PM don't spam. The next person that does so, will be given the full weight of the SPAM and double post infractions that fit the infraction of the rules. We have that inplace to PREVENT spamming not make it even move prevalent. You are warned.

 

All quizzes sent in after the time of this post are void. You'll see your money on the first of May, in some time zone or another.
