There are quite a few decent ones around. I propose we should include them in some threads even if they don't get first place!

I was deciding between The Laughing Man's and Pidge's since I thought these two looked the best, but the defining factor was still Pidge's style and concept which came to me as both relevant and nice-looking. :cheers:

 

Pidge looks like he'll take this by a landslide, but a few others are really good and could have been voted for just as easily.

 

Well, not only is Pidge popular, but his banner is amazing, and he has an account on both forums. Pidge's is also a more tradiitonal style, which allows it to appeal to all audiences. Plus, it's 3-D-ish, although TBH, pretty much everything now-a-days IS. (COUGHAVATARCOUGH)

However, there are some others that could fit into a few other categories. For example, I could totally see 8-bit's in the Elite 4/Legend defender section. It's a shame we can't use them all, because they're all pretty sweet.

I'm not gonna lie, I voted for myself. I know, I'm going to hell, where I will be locked in a room for all eternity with a crudely drawn Charizard and a broken Pokeball, but hey, all is fair in love and war...and...uh...banner contests?

 

I voted for Pidge's but The Laughing Man's and Ragnarok0422's were close behind in the end. All good entries. It makes me wish I still had my copy of Photoshop I would have liked to have tried to enter.

 

I really like Pidge's too. The Salamence seemingly flies out of the banner, which fits the catchphrase on the banner perfectly. Good job, Pidge!

it isn't about the quality of the art
but how entertaining it is
bumblebee's is the most entertaining

 

And this is about quality, or at least it should be.

Would you rather watch a quality show, or a crappy show that provides entertainment? A superb picture, or a funny picture? Eat a magnificent sandwich, or eat a sandwich that provides entertainment value in some way?
