AceTrainer14's room-Trainers' Estate: Moltres Hall

Your room.

 

Ace opened up the mahogany door, and stepped into his simple room. There was a living and dining area, a small kitchen, and a bathroom and bedroom down the hall. Evelyn, his Flareon, was by his side, and was interested by the new home.
"Well, we better start looking around, shouldn't we?" Ace said, and put his bags to the ground.
"Flare!" Eevelyn agreed. Ace looked around, and realised that there was a small cupboard as well, and a large wardrobe in his bedroom. There was plain white paint on every surface at the moment, and it seemed all too... dull.
"I'd love to decorate, but I don't know how!" Ace said, and sat down on a small fold out chair. Evelyn sniffed around, and she grabbed a white brochure. Ace opened it up, and realised it was an order form for his room!
"Sweet!" He cried, and hugged Evelyn, who smiled and blew love hearts of flame. The two looked through, and they decided upon:
- Red paint for the walls and ceilings
- Bright orange curtains
- A flame patterned carpet
- Black and white tiles for the kitchen and bathroom
- A widescreen television
- Two soft, plushy orange sofas
- A Redwood dining table
- A King sized bed with red and orange sheets
- A flash new computer with an oak desk
- A small bookshelf
- Decorations of Pokemon, framed book covers, and model engines
- Red and orange linen and towels
- Two white phones
- A shaggy white rug
- A set of silver cutlery, black and white plates and glasses
- A silver fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine a dn dryer

 

The last of the boxes arrived, and Ace had to send out Aquarius and Vinnie to help open all the boxes.
"Look at all of this amazing stuff we know have!" Ace said excitedly, and stacked the plates up on the counter. He saw the two phones he had brought, and decided to set one up in the kitchen. The others moved the couches and dining table into place while he did that, and soon it was connected.
"Why don't I call Cat first?" He said to himself, and dialled her number. "Hey there, d'you want to come over and hang out?"

 

Ace listened to Cat's reply, and beamed.
"Sweet, I'll see yout here!" He replied, and hung up. The Pokemon had set up the living and dining area, and Ace turned to them.
"I am going to get a friend, so let's go!"

 

Ace soon came back, and held the door open for Cat.
"Come on in, come in!" He called, smiling widely. Evelyn, Aquarius and Vinnie ran forwards, with torn up boxes lying behind them, and several decorations put up

 

Cat walked into the room and grinned widely at the obvious excitement of Ethan's pokemon. "Nice seeing ya'll again, I can see ya have been busy decorating up the place" Cat walked over to Evelyn and petted her fiery red and yellow furs, she always did have a liking for her friends Flareon, probably because of the close connection to her own Umbreon.

 

Evelyn nuzzled the newcomer, and made a purring sort of sound, signalling she enjoyed it. Ace closed the door, walked over some boxes, and opened up his newly installed fridge.
"I'll get us some drinks and some food, and we can sit inside or out."

 

"Inside or out is fine with me" Cat continued switching between petting Evelyn, Aquarius, and Vinnie as she looked around the room, it certainly looked different then her room thats for sure. Instead of soft greens, browns, bits of blues and white with mixed colors of flowers like what were in her room, there were different shades reds, yellows, oranges, and touches of gold along with bits of black and white from the kitchen and bathroom. Even the furniture was different, where as her room had more oriental furniture, Ethan's had more modern. 'Guess all the rooms vary in style'

 

Ace poured some drinks, put some sandwiches, crackers and a bowl of chips on a tray, and carried it out onto his deck. The tiles out here were a terracota brown colour, with a yellow ball enclosing it in.
"I went for a more Tuscany-esque feel out here." Ace explained, and put the tray on a steel table. "Take a seat, and we can discuss everything."

 

Cat walked through the doors of the deck and looked around in awe, obviously impressed by the outside enclosure. "Wow, ya sure did do a good job of decorating this place, thats for sure!" She sat down near the table and immediately relaxed at the soft feel of the seats, they reminded her of her comfy bed back in Celebi. "So before I end up falling asleep on ya deck, what did ya wanna talk about?"

 

Ace passed Cat over a drink, and began to nibble on a sandwich.
"I just wanted to catch up. Every other time we;ve chatted, it's like we've only been through a computer!" Ace explained. "I want us to have a proper friendship? So, what do you think of the estate so far?"

 

"The estate?" Cat paused, thinking about it, she realized she didn't really know much about it since she slept the moment she got here. "I've only seen a bit of Celebi Hall, the bed of my room, and your room, so I dont really know what to think other then the seats and beds are comfy" It was true, they were very comfy but aside from that she didn't know the first thing about the estates. 'I really need to get out more'

 

Ace was surprised, but understood: he was new too, after all, and so were many more!
"Well, we should go down to the library or games room later." He suggested, smiling. "Also, I am thinking of arranging a ball with Serenity, the current head of the estate. Do you think that would be fun?"

 

A ball? Cat wouldn't know if a ball would be fun or not, seeing as how she's never been to one before. But she guessed it would be a good way to meet new people around this huge place, plus free food! What could be better then that? "A ball sounds good, lemme know if ya need any help with it, I got nothing better to do" Cat finished up her sandwich in record time, missing meals now and then has a tendency to make people ravenous sometimes, and took a few good gulps of her drink. "Ya mind if we look at the food joints too? I'd like to know where I can get a meal around this place when I'm too lazy to cook"

 

"I am glad you liked the idea!" Ace beamed. "And we can go down and have a look right now. I'll leave the Pokes to finish setting things up, if that's fine with you guys."
"Poli!"
"Tang!"
"Sweet, shall we go then?"

 

"Sure thing, lead the way!" Cat hopped up from her seat and walked back into the main room of Ethan's flat, she gave each of his pokemon a final petting before they left to explore the Estates. She had to say, even though she didn't care a bit when she first arrived, she was pretty excited to see what this place had to offer.

 

"Hey, wait up!" Ace shouted. "You guys look after the flat while I'm out. Bye!" And he turned and rushed out of the flat, leaving his Pokemon behind.

 

"So...where to first?" Cat had stopped walking just a little outside of Ethan's flat to give him a chance to catch up with her, though with how slow she was walking he would've been able to anyway. Like always her sandals were dangling from her hands, apparently deciding not to wear them until needed, and with how warm the floors of the Moltres Hall felt she wouldn't be putting them on for a while.

 

"Let's go to the cafeteria first." Ace said. "Race you there!" And he sprinted off.

After being absent for seemed like ages, Ace finally made it back to his flat. But he was astounded by it before he had even clsoed the door.
The new carpet had been put in, and it looked like someone had set it on fire. The walls were painted properly, and had dried enough for portraits and paintings of Pokemon and steam engines to be put up, along with several movie posters. Bright flowers stood in pot plants all around the living room, and the couches, dining table and coffee table had been set up. The widescreen television hung from the wall, with surround sound speakers and lots of DVD's in a special rack. A brown bookshelf was up against one wall, with a variety of titles covering two shelves, and then several train models on top.
Evelyn, Kashin, Aquarius, Arabella, Vinnie, Zapster, High-Fly, Rockster, Blackgold and Draconia all stood there, smiling proudly at their work.
"WOW!" Ace cried, and allowed himself to be bombarded with a group hug. "This is amazing guys!" Ace looked at the kitchen, which was complete with the black and white cabinets and tiles, shiny silver surface, and lots of brilliant white ware. The deck had been fixed up as well, and now had a barbeque, two sets of tables and chairs, more plants, and a mini battle area there. Ace was so excited that he was beginning to forget what was going on. But he decided he would stay there for a little bit while he remembered.
