This auction will be held on this coming Monday, December 20th, 01:00 (1AM) in GMT+8. Please note that it is considered as a Monday, due to the "new day begins after 00:00" rule.

You can use http://www.timezoneconverter.com/cgi-bin/tzc.tzc to determine the time for your timezone. If you still don't catch it, just look out for posts in this thread around the 18th/19th/20th, since I will post stuff like "?? more hours till event" or something like that.

If you haven't signed up for IRC yet, you should go and register now. Details on how to register are on the first post. I will be auctioning a total of 17 mons, each of a different type. The amount of mons is subjected to changes still, depending on the amount of people in the chat. Obviously, I won't increase it to 25 just because there are 30 people in the chat. And of course, some auctions will be "blind bids". :naughty:

There will be an auction around 20th-25th December, or even earlier. I will reveal more details and the exact date/time of the auction later on. All usual auction rules apply, which also include you not trying to abuse any kind of battles to make quick money. It should be noted that if anyone tries to impersonate someone else on IRC, he/she will be punished accordingly and possibly be banned from future events.

This auction will be done on IRC, because I seriously doubt an AIM Chatroom would fit us all in. However, you must register your nickname on IRC first, since I'll be setting #URPG to a mode in which only registered nicks get to enter. This is to prevent people from changing their nicks freely during the auction and impersonation. Don't worry though, this register process is extremely simple and require only about one minute of your time.

A guide on how to enter IRC:

To register your nick:
1) Change your nickname to whatever you want first (should be your Pe2k/BMG username)
2) Type /msg NickServ REGISTER insertpassword insertemail
3) Done. Your nick is now registered and you have to enter your password to use the nick now.

Whenever you log on to IRC now, they will ask you to type /msg NickServ IDENTIFY insertpassword. Just fill in your password and it will then say: Password accepted - you are now recognized. Once you're done, just post the nickname that you registered on IRC here.

For Mibbit users, insert this command in your Mibbit tab.

/ns register yourpassword youremailaddress

They will send you a "passcode confirmation" to the email you registered. Just copy and paste the passcode from your email and paste back on Mibbit to confirm registration. And you're good to go.
