Shinies [Electrode, Tyranitar, Infernape, Gengar] vs Xali [Salamence, Breloom, Garchomp, Starmie]

Lead Pokemon were Electrode and Garchomp. Electrode's moves were trolltastic, but Chomp put up Rocks. Electrode uses Toxic on Chomp before it switches to Ape, and then Infernape survives long enough for Toxic to just barely KO it. Breloom comes out, and is killed by Infernape's prediction. Starmie immediately avenges his bro with Brine. Electrode tries to kill Starmie, but it switched to Salamence. Trode explodes, but Salamence lives because of Intimidate. Gengar then kills Mence, and then is confused by Starmie. Starmie uses my powerful hax dice to kill Gengar, and then T-tar is finally in. Starmie confuses T-tar, but the move goes through and a Crunch finally ends the 2 hour battle.


Shinies wins and gets $1000.
Xali loses and gets $500.
I get $2000 for reffing.

Lots of switching in this battle, and some decent stalling by Nonpain. However, Arceusfan's Togekiss ended up being the bane of Nonpain's team. Very interesting battle, maybe I'll write more about it later.

Extremely quick battle, because I forced them to send in 2 minutes or splash. Infernape's superior speed with a Nasty Plot ends up just barely allowing it to kill Garchomp, while Dusknoir uses Shadow Sneak to kill Infernape. Then came omniplex's Garchomp, which got cursed by Dusknoir. Omni set up Sandstorm, which caused Dusknoir to be killed with a Crunch and sandstorm damage. A single earthquake was all it took to kill Electivire.

This is one of those battles where the losing team did really well, considering they went up against some strong members of the URPG. Not going to put in every detail of the battle, but good prediction put Iraq's Disciples out in front while a single silly move possibly finished off Panther Assassins chance of winning this match (Thunder Wave on Jolteon).
