I don't know what the limit of pokemon is for this gym, as the orange league is unique for its rules. Also to note, I have a Gardevoir-in-training and a Hariyama-in-training (i.e. they are still NFE).

Elaborating now.

Navel Islands' rules are as follows: Both competitors must have one pokemon of every type. The referee rolls two sets of 17 sided dice equal to the amount of Pokemon being used in the battle (so for a 4v4 the ref would roll two sets of 4 die). One set would be for the Leader, one for the challenger. They must then use one Pokemon of that type in their line-up. For example, if I'm challenging Navel Island, and the ref rolls 2, 8, 14 and 15, I would have to use a Fire type, a Poison type, a Ghost type, and a Dragon type (with my order anyway). Because of this, the Navel Island leader has to have a team of 17, with every type always accessible (you can't have Blaziken unless you have another Fire or Fighting type in your line-up, for instance). You can, however, rent most of your line-up if you don't own enough. You just can't challenge that way.

 

Ah ok thank you for clearly explaining that, in that case ignore my application for it, I'm not going to ask to rent 11 Pokemon, thats a bit extreme

That's Kumquat.

For Navel Island, you apply with 10 mons and for example, if you decide the battle to be a 3v3, you send 6 mons to the referee, and 3 will be randomly rolled to be used in the battle.

 

If you need ten pokemon then I'll change my application to this...
