I can't say I'm honestly surprised at all at the results...

The system you used for this Ladder stressed too much on doing battles, regardless of who you beat or even if you won. In my opinion the other system was much better since people couldn't just spam battle noobs to get their points up. I mean honestly the fact that some of these people battled members with less than 6 Pokemon, none of which had TMs, showed that an addendum to the rules is needed.

Anyway, Congrats Monbrey, you played the game smartly and well so I suppose you did deserve to win

I do agree with you there. I did play to win, but from a outside standpoint the system was a little flawed. I was able to battle people who, no offence to them, were on a lower level competitively. Dodo was able to lose repeatedly and get enough points for a place. ^.^

The last system was not only more stressful to keep up with, but I had a feeling other people didn't like it because they didn't understand it.

I understand what you're saying and attempted to create it in a way that would fix someone beating multiple easier players every time over and over. Now you're probably wondering what that fix is. It's the rule I included that you can't deny challenges once you're in the system, just like gym leaders. That means if Monbrey gets free points off alaska every week, so can you. I think it did not work out because people that could of done well did not bother trying to get their free points.

I didn't mind the system, I thought it was better than being confinded to just battling people of a certain tier, as it seems to have been implied. If more URPG veterans participated, than I think making it so that people could only battle people of similar strengths is a good idea. But this system worked out well enough in my opinion
