I'll claim my 4K. I wasn't here long enough to see Risk so I won't say anything about that.

Edit: And I'll trade a TM Case for a prize as well after ref wages. I'll do up to 30K for one Medium, 40K for Hard.

venonat thanks for running ATF / blue

in my opinion the rules should be more clear as to what's going on and this should be a background tournament that has time for the battles to actually happen. liek more like a week for the battles to happen because it gets too messy with inactivity

    Claiming 10k and this beaut

I'd recommend having a larger map and finding a way so that the everyone has to battle and not just the stronger battlers that do all the battles. Also having to face the same person over and over gets really lame. I can't really think of any suggestions atm though.

    Claiming that Fella there

as for next time, Players submit individual movement and have to work together to agree on whos going where that way individual activity can be better judged. It also stops a situation where the "Better" battlers are constantly getting to battle neglecting the "Weaker" members of a team also meaning they might not get to battle. Honestly Prizes to be undetermined till the end - I think this way we end up with less of a mad rush for individuals to do things like get the best record overall etc. I think the way towel worked the prizes this time taking into account activity and being on a winning/losing team or restarting with another team was very well done and that some individuals may have even got a better score had they stayed inactive after green team died (not likely since most of there wins came after green got destroyed but an interesting element to consider for future risk like events)

If people are to suggest a larger map then my vote is for the expanded unova region presented in black 2 its got alot of secluded areas to be used as start points.

I don't like the bolded idea. Although in encourages the coordination of teammates, I still believe there should be a single leader who makes the final say on all movements. It would be wrong for the leader not to consult the members of his team, but it would also be annoying to have a single teammate decide to veto an idea. If one person can derail a tactic that requires the entire team, is it even a team, or just a group of individuals whose prizes are inherently linked to each others participation?

I would like to make a plea to swap out my 3K prize for an Easist. The main reason being that yes I was active on my team, but I was loyal to Green and didn't feel right swapping to a different team and collecting those prizes.

    Vultures, vultures everywhere.

Yeah okay, you can have one Husnain.

I'll be claiming a Cottonee I think, unless I edit in the next 24 hours or so.

    Problems with Risk:
    - Only moving three people per turn was dumb given the size of the teams
    - Fucking inactives
    - Swapping teams when eliminated
    - Fucking inactives
    - Too many prizes - I don't remember approving that many in the first place (this my be my fault)
    - Fucking inactives
    - The first come first serve battle structure made it impossible for higher tier battlers to assist lower tier ones, maybe priority battle whoever is closest tier to you (T1 vs T2 instead of T1 vs T4)
    - Fucking inactives
    - I think by the end of Turn 3 we had finished reading the rules. By the end of of turn 8 a few people may have even understood them.
    - Fucking inactives
    - Sometimes it was almost a disadvantage to outnumber your opponent due to the overwhelming handicaps.
    - Fucking inactives
    - Starting on the water was really hard for Blue to defend from so many fronts. We almost managed to cover all ports, until Red swept through our fucking inactives

I am claiming a Tangela has my Hard mon and my 13k in ref wages. Thanks for hosting, ATF, and thanks for taking over, Blue.

I think Risk in general was a little rushed. The concept could've probably been hashed out a little more, and maybe a test run done before put up in Tournament setting. A lot of people were unclear on the rules. Inactivity was also a big issue, and I agree with Monbrey in that some starting places were way easier to defend than others. I also tired of the same battles over and over again. Next time we'll have to do a little more tweaking.

SO MUCH AGREEMENT. The bolded one is probably being generous and the biggest problem, though the ones two and four below it and the first one were problems too.

    Claiming PSYCHODUCK as my Medium.
@BlueTowel; the spreadsheet prizes don't match up with these, particularly in the cases of PokeViper (Hard vs Nil); SLC, Elamite, Axion, Fawkes (Medium vs Simple); Magikchicken, Neonsands, Ayotui, CommBA ($3,000 vs Simple). Which is correct for these?

    >Thread specifically for prizes has no link to a spreadsheet
    >Why are you looking at a spreadsheet

Seriously, the prizes thread specifically states that these were discussed at length. Bringing up outdated considerations is incredbily unhelpful.

If anyone has a link to a Risk-related spreadsheet, disregard anything it says.
