Gym Tournament 2013 FINALS

This is the final round of the 2013 Gym Tournament! Congratulations to everyone who made it this far; you only have one step further to go. This round is a Round Robin, which means each of the remaining competitors must battle the other two. The battle rules can be found below. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, this round will end at 8AM GMT+9:30 on the 1st of February, 2014. Please remember to post the battle logs in this thread. A short description is required, but you can keep if vague if the battlers wish it so. Referees, please keep track of and include in the log the health of all remaining Pokemon: this information will be used to determine the winner in the case of a tie.

I'm GMT-5. Again, sorry about not being around, I've had meetings out the wazoo these past few days, eating up a pretty solid part of my usual down time. I should be able to get on sometime tonight.

EDIT: Also, this weekend is bad for me. I could maybe battle Saturday night, but Sunday is a definite no.

Okay, because this needs to end, this is what I'm going to do. Feel free to contact me or whine in this thread if you think this is unfair.

Step One: You all have the next 48 hours to contact each other and plan a battle. This battle is to take place inside the next week. If you cannot work around your schedule, unfortunately you must forfeit to the person who -can-. If you both can't find a time to battle, it can be counted as a double forfeit and I'll do math I guess. If you do not attempt to contact your opponents in the given 48 hours, you forfeit both battles.

Step Two: The battles happen. If someone's opponent doesn't show up at the organised time then you contact me through VM or PM immediately.

Just a heads up, the prizes are more than likely going to change if the battles don't all get done.

It's currently 10:45PM here, on Sunday 2nd February. I have work from approximate 8am - 1:30pm on Monday 3rd (9 hours 15 minutes from this post) and Thursday 6th.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday I am free, and will do my best to be on AIM. If I get called into work other that those times I'll post here beforehand to let people know.

This fit with anyone else's schedules? If not I have no issue just taking the double forfeit. We're all busy people.

 

I think I can make this work. Early Tuesday for you is Monday night for me, correct? If you don't mind waking up between 8 and 9 am Tuesday, I think we can make this work. That's roughly 4-5 pm for me, which would be the most convenient. Although I will admit that the battle may take longer than it would normally, because I'll be alternating turns with physics calculations.

@We Taste Pies...; We're in the same timezone. How does Tuesday at around 3-5 pm sound to you?

 

I have meetings every Tuesday from, I kid you not, 3-6ish... So that won't really work.

I posted team reveal at 4:30pm EST. About half an hour in, I derped & started to ref the turn in the PM to GM. AND THEN CASUALLY REFFED THE TURN, ACTING AS IF NOTHING HAD HAPPENED, ROLLED CRIT BEFORE MISS ON STONE EDGE, & STONE EDGE MISSED ANYWAYS. pro ref right hurrrr. By 45 minutes in, I decided to make it slightly more exciting because I was bored. Then I forgot Lefties & opted to not have anymore excitement. I decided to deal with my boredom.

AND THEN, SEVERAL FUCK UPS LATER (mostly on my behalf), GLISCORMAN & PEWTER GYM WIN. Since I'm supposed to post HPs & shiz, GM only had Rhyperior left at 3.92%. No, seriously. 3.92%. Everything else was knocked out.

At least this only lasted about 2 & a half hours. ;3

@We Taste Pies...; I most likely can't do Wednesday, so would you be able to (start the) battle Thursday anywhere from 3-6pm?

I should be out of a meeting roughly around 3, so I might be able to do that, but I also have class at 5:30, so it will probably just have to be a start.
