The terrains last the duration of the battle, and such, cannot be changed throughout by using certain moves (using TR doesn't restore dimensions, etc.)


Refs: please log these battles in the log thread as soon as possible as they may be needed for proof of challenges.

 

@Synthesis[/mention], please confirm that both Trick Room entries are supposed to be there. Refs are taking #10 off and rolling 1d9, but I'd really rather have it on.

Four Terrain moves, four Room moves, the two Sports, and Gravity.

EDIT: Also @Synthesis; if someone is forced to wager their last remaining star chips and they win, do they get 25% of the other persons SC or does their own SC just double?

e.g. Felly challenged Comm with 11 SC, 25% of Comm's SC was more than 11. If Felly had won would she get 11 SC, or whatever 25% of Comm's was? Since Comm won, does he get 11 CC or whatever 25% of his own is? I just went with 11 for now, but can change if you want.

And @swiftgallade46 ; Normally she would be able to wager up to 50% of the challenger's SC but the way I see it is she has to actually have the SC she is to wager. The 25% minimum applies only if both can wager the minimum. It makes people with low SC not really worth eliminating and still gives them a chance to come back I think. After all, once she wins just one battle, she is up to 22, then 44, then 88, and so on so a bit of perseverance could have someone with low SC back up in the space of a week or so!

 

Fair enough, so should I leave the battle as is or is there something I should change about the wager?

I haven't seen anything this ridiculous involving star chips since that time Yami Yugi switched his Giant Soldier of Stone into attack mode, and destroy that Moon equip spell he put in play, drying up the ocean, then using Curse of Dragon to destroy everything letting him win. Boy Yu-Gi-Oh! sure made zero sense that first season.

Magic Room making items useless really made things interesting as items weren't used as a result. With some good rolls in his favor DR took the lead, but unfortunately forgetting about Zard having Speed +1 ultimately cost him as it took out his Meowstic in one hit.

This came down to our last Pokemon being 4% HP Clawbster vs 4% HP Amphy. Truly only won because Clawy was Fully Paralyzed on that last turn.

(Actually, Truly got lucky a bunch and only had a shot in the first place because Ash rolled random Pokemon)

Ace Trainer Liam vs Maxie the Weavile

Liam: Arcanine, Greninja, Sceptile, Scrafty, Whimsicott, Galvantula
Maxie: Serperior, (Mega) Metagross, Drapion, Weavile, Camerupt, Yanmega

Of course there was also that time when Yami Yugi was dueling Panik, and Yami Yugi sent his Gaia the Dragon Champion into his Castle of Dark Illusion via the made up effect of Catapult Turtle, cause the castle to fall the next turn, and crush all of Panik's monsters trapped inside his own shield card. Then Yami killed him. Pretty messed up for a show about card games.

Interesting battle. Sticky Web was set up, while two of Liam's Pokemon got hit with Toxic. Arcanine set up sun while Yanmega, Weavile, and Serperior were all sacrificed to Flare Blitz, bringing Maxie to 2 Pokemon against 6. Drapion turned the tide some getting OHKO via Critical Hits on Whimsicott, and Sceptile when both swapped in on Cross Poison. It ultimately came down to the end were a few fully Par rolls, and High Jump Kick hitting sealed things.
