Basics Battle Tournament Finale!

Synthesis: Buneary, Froakie, Gastly, Gligar, Aipom, Staryu
Smores: Swirlix, Lileep, Amaura, Meditite, Voltorb, Anorith

This battle took nine hours. My reffing got pretty shitty in the middle bits. Sorry.
I forgot most of what happened, but Syn was pretty much in control of the entire battle. Smo had a couple of surprises, but eventually his stuff got worn down enough that Gastly cleaned up a lot and Buneary wrapped things up. Aipom came in for Pickup at the end, but no cigar.

Smores: 1,500 + 2nd Place

EDIT: oh and I guess everyone gets entrance fees back too

Alright, since I forfeited out of the semi finals, it was effectively a round of three. I've decided to treat this like a round robin and combine the semis/final.

As Syn has beaten both Elysia and Smores, he has already secured first place. @Elamite; and @Elysia; can battle to determine second and third place.

I've been advised timezones may clash - if the battle isn't done within two weeks I'll leave the placings as Smores in second and Elysia in third, but you'll both still get your deposits back.

@Synthesis; can claim his prize, a Complex Pokemon with 3 EMs

I'm not claiming 4th place prize since I forfeited.

short log because it's 8 am lol but this was a pretty good battle like what you'd expect this high up from these two. Ely's more conservative playstyle gave her the edge over smo's high risk high reward. some great predictions on both sides, and also a bit of par hax here and there, but nothing too notable. smores would have been a lot more secure in obtaining a win if he didn't sack his spinner cause rock doesn't resist rock fsr. GG!
