Budget Tournament 2014: Round 1

Sign ups for the Budget Tournament 2014 are now closed. 1 person has received a bye for the first round. No more byes after that, so bye-bye byes! The match-ups for Round 1 are as follows:

As stated on the sign-up page, the rules for Round 1 Battles are:
4v4-6v6
XY Private Preview/XY Private Full
Helds On(Can be turned off if agreed on by both battlers)
Evasion/Accuracy/Sleep/Freeze/One-Hit-Knock-Out Clauses On
No Starting Weather
Building Terrain

Refs can post their logs for Round 1 Tournament Battles in this thread.
Payout for these battles will be 3K per winner, 1.5K + 10K entrance fee per loser, and 3K per referee. The ref will always receive 3K no matter how many Pokemon are used by each player. The same rules apply to splitting pay if the ref can't finish a battle.

Participants have until Sunday, October 5th to complete their battles. As usual, you must make a reasonable effort to schedule your battles by then, or you will not be refunded your 10K entrance fee. If you have a legitimate reason for being unable to complete your battle, please let me know and I may consider an extension of a day or two.

After Round 1 Battles are done, there will be a 4-day purchasing period before the start of Round 2. And without further ado, go kick each other's butts!

PV couldn't do much because the type matchup wasn't on his side. Starmie alone was too big of a threat.

Lovecraft vs Felly

Lovecraft: Manectric, Klefki, Clawitzer, Durant
Felly: Liepard, Kangaskhan, Kingdra, Sigilyph

Klefki got enough stats to make Clawitzer get a free KO on Kanga. Clawitzer then got a good prediction and got the game moving. Manectric then came in to finish, but Felly forfeited before then.

Me: 3K

Dash v Neon
Banette, Breloom, Mandibuzz, Nidoking v Manectric, Accelgor, Cloyster, Altaria

Dash started out with a good kil, after that it was the rather normal back and forth.
Until Neon started getting some terribly unlucky rolls, to the point where recovering was near impossible.

Dash wins and gets 3000 + advances
Neon loses and gets 1500 + 10000 entrance fee
I ref and get 3000
