    Was back and forth, Machamp was the heavy hitter for Felly. Once Aurorus came out though it gave DR the edge while going against Liepard, and Drifblim.

    Castelia City Gym Leader Synthesis vs Challenger Monbrey

    Syn: Scizor, Volcarona, Accelgor, Scolipede
    Mon: Ambipom, Crobat, Gliscor, Blaziken

    Was pretty well played on both sides. Volcarona was sent with Red Card on Ambipom's Fire Punch, forcing Crobat who despite not having more than 1 EM managed to take out Volcarona, albeit being burned in the process. Gliscor was taken out in one hit by Counter, and Ambipom was taken out by a Superpower. Blaziken was Monbrey's last hope, and it took out Scizor, but Accelgor did Accelgor things. Crobat came back in and hit a Supersonic behind Sub while Burn KOed a turn later. Had Accelgor been confused for 3 turns instead of 2 Mon may have won, but Accelgor snapped, and Baton Passed Speed+2 to a Weakness Policy Scolipede on a Fire Punch.

    Syn reffed the early part of this. When I came in Infernape just took care of Drapion, and then Greninja came in to finish off the last 2.

    Ace Trainer Liam vs Monbrey

    Liam: Gyarados, Talonflame, Swampert, Jellicent, Hydreigon, Vivillon
    Mon: Arcanine, Metagross, Blaziken, Infernape, Rhyperior, Empoleon

    Interesting battle. Mostly KO for KO, until Blazkien missed 2 Focus Blast and did nothing as a result. Infernape swapped out against Jellicent, and later came in as his last hope. It KOed Hydreigon with a Power-Up Punch, and stalled out Jellicent long enough to get a Swords Dance in. Vivillon was the last random thing rolled by Liam, and it almost won with Powder until Monbrey realized it was a priority, and used Thunderpunch instead of the Fire Punch he wanted to use to really crush it.
