Gallade scored a critical hit on its first attack, giving Muddy an immediate advantage. On the next turn, both Lucario and Gallade used Swords Dance. Gallade knocked Lucario out with a Drain Punch. The next two Pokemon that Voltaire sent out didn't fare much better as both were slower than Gallade and succumbed to OHKOs.
