Archeops wrecked Mid's team, taking out 1/2 his Pokemon and damaging Swampert before U-Turning to Togekiss who set up a Tailwind and smashed through the rest of Mid's team. At the very end, it looked like Mid could pull off a comeback with Charizard, but Togekiss's AncientPower got a rise.

Blaziken used Bulk Up turn 1, giving it an impressive lead due to Speed Boost. OHKOd Jolt, then Liepard, but not before Liepard Par'd Blaziken. Blaze managed to KO Salamence as well, but was brought down to low enough health that Fake Out KOd. Metagross finished up Weavile.

Airik looked ahead from the start, Flower Gift powering up his team in the sun. Sableye was KOd early after trying and failing to hax Cherrim up. Metagross switched for Gardevoir as Slowbro came in and things started really going downhill for Airik. Cherrim and Leavanny went down to Garde's Hidden Power as Slowbro kinda sat there and stalled a bit. Typhlosion and Ninetales looked like they could pull away with a win, but Typhlosion was yawned and Slowbro set up rain. Slowbro then became the last man standing after Surfing away the entire field.
