You can only participate in both of those events you listed if you are a BMG newbie. However, PE2K newbies should be informed too, imo.

For the record, I'm the one that told Brian to post on BMG.

There are more PE2K members on BMG than BMGers on PE2K. Better chance of both sides getting an equal chance.

Check the PE2K thread. Those are the default rules... like a template.
iirc Ataro beat someone for LD and there was a huge uprising cause he changed the rules to 2v2.

Therefore it was decided to come up with some bare basics to abide by, LD can have any rules as long as there is a min of 3v3 and the challenger is allowed to change one rule.
iirc Number of Pokemon aren't allowed to be changed though, just weather, items, etc.

The person who has LD can change how many mons (as long as its greater than 3vs3), the helds, and the weather at will, but the challenger gets to change one thing. This is how it's been done for ages, so if you want to rule my battle invalid, let's just go ahead and rule all of the other LD battles invalid too.

 

Oh, I was under the impression that the challenger changed both when Marshy posted.
