But not really. To his eternal credit, Eraizaa actually managed to turn the tables and start a comeback against that monster above with some very clever uses of items and sends. However, it cost him most of his team to do so, and he couldn't get back momentum fast enough to take out the Blaziken when it came back in again. Eraizaa forfeited kindly to save some time.

WTP was able to tear out a decent chunk of WK's team using Kingdra alone. By that, I mean everything up until Electivire, despite the fact that the former was Paralyzed and also in love while battling Jolteon. Long story short, WTP made good plays and WK made some questionable ones throughout, most of which involved attempting to status the faster Kingdra, who would sub. Swampert cleaned up shop.

My dice were shit to Roulette, scoring him Paralysis on Starmie, a flinch on Dragonite that broke the Multiscale, and prolly some other stuff. However, it was really the way that WK battled that sealed the deal-- he capitalized on Game Boy clause, accurately predicting the Thunder from Starmie to switch into Evire and net a boost, as well as Taunting Dragon Dances (with the same Evire in a convoluted but ultimately deadly set) and some other things. Ultimately, Roulette couldn't regain his ground fast enough, although it was close: in the end, everything hinged on a flinch from Huntail's Waterfall. No such luck.

Coulda been a water gym for the first few turns if Ash had sent out his Dragonite and other Kingrda. He didn't, but stuff happened anyways and whatnot. Eventually, when WTP's Dragonite was on the field with Multiscale entirely intact, even Mold Breaking Haxface couldn't have done the job properly due to lack of items. Ash then tried flinching stuff to death. Didn't get it.

For having zero items and only a handful of TM's, if any, Dynavolt did a decent job, managing to kill everything on the field except for Houndoom, who was asleep and in OHKO range with Nape. However, Webbie managed to keep the lead up and whatnot, and his own superior TM's and mons netted him a close victory.

And Substitute. That went about as well as expected. In the end, Ditto-Blaziken was Choice Locked into HJK. WTP had three mons with Protect. Aaaaand... that's about it.

This started out really nicely paced and well-matched, although Neon managed to get an advantage with some clever Metagross playing. Then Rock Tomb missed because apparently no one likes Metagross. That's okay, though, because it only made things even and Neon was able to play defensively enough to set up with Empoleon. Then Hydro Pump missed because Arcanine is cool. That's sorta okay, though, because then Neon still managed to play it out, although he had some ground to cover. And then Empoleon got burned because... well, I'm not sure why. BUT THAT'S STILL OKAY, because Neon almost got out of that one. And then Sleep Talk rolled a Whirlpool, which promptly missed because... my dice just hate the poor guy. I'd feel more sorry for him, but FOUR AND HALF HOURS OF MY LIFE JUST DIED AND THIS ENDED AT TWO IN THE MORNING.
