After a brief trade-off of Power Gem and Flamethrower between Flaaffy and Houndoom, Castform comes out and is again Flamethrowered before delivering a Water Pulse in return. Houndoom uses the last of his energy to Crunch Castform before being Water Pulsed again and is swiftly replaced by Teddiursa who takes Castform's Return head on to finish him with a Slash. **Teddiursa's Pickup activated at the end of the battle**

The battle started with a bunch of quick switching before TO settled on Sceptile and started buffing. Jolteon hit Sceppy with Toxic, forcing it to Rest. This allowed Salamence to switch in, Dragon Dance, and Outrage for a OHKO. Weavile got the revenge kill, and the Nape did likewise. Starmie, expecting a switch to Jolteon, went for Confuse Ray, and was instead finished by a U-Turn attack when Infernape didn't smack.

Kingdra 2HKOs Swampert with Hydro Pump --> Brine, taking an Earthquake. Tyranitar KOs Kingdra with Outrage while Kingdra Dragon Dances, Salamence Dragon Dances and Brick Breaks it to KO, then Roosts against Metagross healing only about 1% thanks to Ice Punch. Metagross then Agilitizes against Fire Fang and KOs Salamence next turn. Charizard comes in and KOs Metagross after taking damage from 2 turns of SS (Meta sub'd turn 1) and Zen Headbutt. Infernape comes in and misses with Stone Edge, allowing Scary Face to hit it. Charizard then Air Slashes it and flinches it. Electivire then switches in, taking a Wing Attack. Garchomp comes in on a Thunderbolt, Dragonite comes in on an Earthquake. Garchomp Outrages, Dragonite Dragon Dances allowing SS to KO Dragonite. Electivire comes back in, takes an Outrage, and hits Garchomp with an Ice Punch. Garchomp switches to Tyranitar on another Ice Punch, and Electivire is left with 1 HP from SS. Tyranitar Protects and SS KO's Electivire. Infernape is forced in and Close Combats Tyranitar for a KO, and then Dragonite finishes it with Extremespeed.

Charizard opened with an Air Slash and pulled off a flinch, activating Gallade's Steadfast ability and letting him pull off a Stone Edge. Metagross got a vengeance Meteor Mash though and took it out hard. Machamp, anticipating a Magnet Rise, went with Cross Chop instead of Fissure. He was wrong, however, and got creamed by Zen Headbutt. Swampert switched in to the incoming Thunderbolt and took out Electivire without blinking, and proceeded to severely weaken Lucario enough for Metagross to finish it with Bullet Punch.
