    The battle started out with both Flygon and Golduck dishing out STAB attack. Next turn, Kingdra was switched in only to be on the receiving end of a Hypnosis instead. Kingdra stayed in asleep while Golduck attempted a Screech which missed. Dragonite was switched in then on the still sleeping Kingdra. Though, Kingdra woke up next turn and used Dragon Pulse while Dragonite set up with a Dragon Dance. Following that, Dragonite went for the kill with Outrage and managed to weaken the Charizard that was sent in severly, before falling to a Dragon Pulse. Golduck was sent in again and revenge-killed with Aqua Jet. This time, the Golduck faced Garchomp with a Hypnosis on the dragon's Earthquake, which got a low roll and hit. Garchomp wasn't THAT threatening anymore with Cloud Nine and Hypnosis, but Golduck used Disable on a sleeping Garchomp instead, which failed of course. Magmortar was switched in while Garchomp continued to sleep, only to have the Garchomp wake up next turn and use Earthquake for the OHKO. Venusaur was sent this time, and tried another sleep move, namely Sleep Powder this time, and hit despite Sand Veil, not before getting damaged by an Earthquake first though. This was continued by a Leech Seed, to which Salamence was switched in next turn to receive a Seed Bomb instead. Salamence used Fly and Leech Seed missed, but the Fly retargets onto a switched in Ampharos and Static worked. This allowed Ampharos to take down the bulky dragon with a Thunder + Discharge. However, Flygon simply came in and finished up with Earthquake, both on Flygon and the Golduck that was at a very low health when sent in. Venusaur came in as the second last Pokemon in Magic's lineup, only to use Sweet Scent for some reason while Flygon used Earthquake. This made little difference as Venusaur could have KO'd Flygon with a Overgrow boosted Energy Ball, but Magic's remaining mons couldn't do much to Ash's still. Flygon finished Venusaur up and faced Marowak, in which Marowak KO'd the weakened Flygon with Double Edge, but not before receiving an Earthquake first. Finally, Dragonite came in and used Outrage ftko.

    Ash K. wins, and gets $2000 + Defends.
    Magic loses, and gets $1000.
