Un-Curated Art Thread

I posted my first art piece here, and I took a shot at Wurmple. I thought that a Beautifly may come in handy in Smart and Beautiful Contests.

It's been eight days. Why is art harder to grade than stories?

 

There is currently a large backlog of art due to lack of available curators. As always, they are doing their best to get curations done when possible. Art gets curated on a first come first serve basis.

 

Well in that case, why don't I become a curator to pick up the pace and help curating art.

 

By all means! =] Go for it!

 

We always welcome more curators, just means more people to curate my stuff when I get the drive to submit something again.

 

:C I failed my referee quiz. I'll have to wait a week to submit it again (What am I doing wrong!). I promised myself to not take the curator test until I pass the referee test.

Im going in order. Your Wurmple and Bulbasaur are next, followed by Magikarp then your other submission. I'm very specific about the order in which I curate stuff.

 

Is not three months patient? I just want my Snorunt to be curated and get that out of the way.

I just realized that my hopes of having somebody curate something of mine in under a month is, uh, ridiculous.

I guess I'll try again tomorrow to submit my Curator test-- or at least, start writing it up again. Last time I went to send it to myself, but the window decided it had been open too long, "please refresh"! Going "back" didn't help, I lost everything. No matter- that won't happen this time.

In the meantime, I suppose I'll have to grind out stories, if I want to pick up pokemon. Yeah, yeah, the backlog... But it's frightening to think that the backlog is so long.

 

Dude, you posted 10 days ago. Calm down. The art section is the newest section and is also one of the most understaffed (along with Contests). Yes, there is a wait time with curations, it's just the nature of the section. There's really no need to get so upset about it. A curator will get to it eventually, you just need some patience.

 

Curating is a masive pain at times. I get burned out after doing it for a week, then have to take a hiatus.

I’m just putting together a quick post with all the uncurated art. If it’s currently claimed, I’ll tag the curator who claimed it just as a reminder. I’ve got the time to go through and curate ‘em all fairly soon but I don’t want to take the claimed ones away without a little bump first since I know it can be easy to forget!

Mostly I just wanted a list so that I’d know what’s open so I can go curate it. If you’ve got a claim on one of these, I think it’d be great if you could confirm you’re still working so I don’t override something people have already put effort into.

More importantly, if you’ve got an un-curated piece that’s not on this list, please let me know!
