Yes. A full list would include Light Screen, Reflect, Safeguard, Mist, Spikes, Toxic Spikes, Stealth Rock and Sticky Web.
Gonna say no. All Mega Evolution stuff should not be able to be obtained by Pickup.

Also, an important note. Critical hit stages have been changed as well. This is what we have used pre-XY.

    The new stages as followed:

It should be noted that Focus Energy now raises the critical hit level by 2 stages instead of the earlier 1. That means that after using Focus Energy, any move that has a high crit chance has a 100% of scoring a Critical Hit.

    New Priority as followed:

Although Quick Guard/Wide Guard no longer fail when used consecutively, they still count as being used in a row for the purpose of Detect/Protect/Endure/King's Shield/Spiky Shield.

Just wondering based on badge transfer. It said in OP that badges previously earned will still count. What about gyms that no longer exist? IE. Vermillion. Would that still count towards 6 of Kanto region?

Unless you willingly give them up by posting in the thread Monbrey put. But that's 100% your choice and you don't get anything for it. I did so just because it's more fun that way.

It's kind of like when you get stupid bored and have two copies of a gen(insert number here) game and decide to restart the one that you're less serious in. replay value ftw.

Ref pedia appears to be wrong about Mega Evolution and switching. This Video (1:35) shows that switching occurs before Mega Evolution, not the other way around as stated in the pedia. Wanted to double check before any changes are made.

Also, I'm unsure whether people are aware of this, (as I haven't seen it be reffed wrong, but in general it's not a very well known fact), but when a Pokemon MegaEvolves and gains speed (such as MegaLucario for example), the turn in which it Mega Evolves still uses the same speed as it's regular form. This is because of the way the game interprets the order of moves as predetermined before any events of the turn.

I just wanted to point this out because the Refpedia just says "any changes in the Speed Priority brought by a new ability, such as Banette mega evolving and gaining the ability Prankster, are not factored in within the turn of Mega Evolution but will be in all subsequent turns." However, it goes further than this.

That stuff wasn't added by me. I was well aware that it happened after switching occurred, and that the speed stat, regardless of any changes to it by Mega Evolution or a changed ability or anything, isn't calculated until the end of the turn.

I think what that line is meant to say is that the increased priority from Mega Banette's Prankster wont affect the first move it uses, only on following turns. Mega Evolving and using Confuse Ray has a regular priority, but on subsequent turns Prankster takes effect and gives it +1. However that mechanics seems dumb so I don't really know.

But having said that, interesting test: Mega Evolve and use Pursuit on a switching Pokemon.

Also, not to argue with Ataro, but technically only Normal Gems have had their power reduced. All of the other gems are unreleased and, as such, give an unknown boost. There's speculation as to whether the other gems will ever make it to X/Y.

The following changes have also been made to the Reffing Encyclopedia during the past week.

    • As of Gen VI, "Absorb Abilities" do not depend on accuracy. For example, when Ampharos uses Thunderbolt on a Motor Drive Electivire, Motor Drive immediately activates regardless of accuracy. "Absorb-Stat" held items require the attacks to hit however, and the item will activate after damage calculation.
    • Body Slam, Flying Press, and Phantom Force double in power and don't miss against minimizers.
    • Knock Off fails to remove the opponent's item if the user dies to Rough Skin/Iron Barbs/Rocky Helmet. Items are triggered before they get knocked off.
    • If the user has Huge Power/Pure Power, Foul Play will be calculated with double the target's attack stat. The target's Attack boosts are ignore if the target has Unaware.
    • If a Parental Bond Pokemon uses Assurance and no other damage was incurred in the turn beforehand, the first hit has normal power and the second hit is doubled.
    • If a Parental Bond Pokemon uses Sleep Talk, whatever move that was selected will be used twice. It does not choose Sleep Talk two separate items.
    • Parting Shot is intercepted by Pursuit when used against a slower Pursuit user.
    • Stance Change allows Aegislash to switch between Blade Forme and Shield Forme. Changes to Blade Forme when using an attacking move, and reverts to Shield Forme when using King's Shield. Other status moves will not change its form.
Stance Change cannot be Traced, copied with Role Play, suppressed with Gastro Acid, or replaced with Simple Beam or Skill Swap. Activates prior to and independently of any checks for status conditions that may stop the execution of the user's attack, such as paralysis or confusion. Sleep Talk does not trigger Stance Change, regardless of the move used.
    • Added more detailed description for Terrain Moves.
    • Quick Guard is now affected by Prankster and Gale Wings.
    • If a Mega Evolving Pokemon uses Pursuit on a target that is switching out, the message: "Pokemon, come back!" would display first. The Pursuit user would then Mega Evolve, use Pursuit, and finally the opponent would switch out (or faint).
    • Belch's description is incorrect. Belch will not fail if the user is not holding a berry. Rather, Belch cannot even be selected (also added more detailed information).
    • Added more detailed description for Symbiosis.
    • Updated Encore with Disable/Struggle information.
    • Added information regarding priority of Abilities, Type/Other Immunities, and Item Activation.
    • You can Mega Evolve and become fully paralyzed on the same turn.
    • Defiant is triggered twice when Memento is used.
    • If an immune Pokemon switches into Outrage, the Outrage user will not be locked the next turn, and it will always inflict confusion only when Outrage is on its last turn.
    • Copycat can no longer call Roar for use, and assuming Whirlwind works the same too.
    • Assist can no longer pick Fly, Dig, or Whirlwind.
    • If a Gale Wing Pokemon uses Fly, Fly gets priority both turns.
    • Ghost Types are now immune to Bide.
    • Hidden Power is not affected by Pixilate/Aerilate/Refrigerate.
    • Oblivion Wing is affected by Liquid Ooze.
    • Infiltrator does not bypass Magic Bounce.
    • If an Assist user copes a multi-turn move like Outrage, it becomes locked into Outrage.
    • Topsy-Turvy is reflected when the target has Magic Bounce.
    • When Transform/Imposter is used on Aegislash, the user of Transform/Imposter will be locked into whatever forme the copied Pokemon is in. This means that if Aegislash is in Shield Forme, and Ditto is switched in and Imposter activates, Ditto will stay in the Shield Forme even if it selects an attacking move.
    • *When Gengar Mega Evolves and loses Levitate, Toxic Spikes is still not absorbed. It is still not confirmed whether this effect will happen if Mega Gengar is switched out and back in.
    • If a Protean Pokemon uses Sleep Talk, the Pokemon's type is transformed into the type of the chosen move, and not the type of Sleep Talk. Protean will not change the Pokemon's type when it is asleep or if it hits itself in confusion.
    • Facade ignores the physical attack drop from the burn status now.
    • Gale Wings does not affect Hidden Power Flying.
    • If a Unburden Pokemon gains a new item after receiving an Unburden boost, the boost is removed.
    • If Toxic is used by a Poison Type, Toxic bypasses accuracy checks and will hit through disappearing moves (eg. Fly, Dive, etc).
    • Poison Fang now has a 50% chance to inflict bad poison, as opposed to the earlier 30%.
    • Incinerate burns away Gems.
    • Ghost Types are immune to being trapped, but still receive damage (following moves: Bind, Clamp, Fire Spin, Infestation, Magma Storm, Sand Tomb, Whirlpool, and Wrap.

    Question about the New Gyms:

I didn't reset my badges. Am I still able to challenge the gyms that didn't exist before, such as Monsu and whatnot?
