    Me and Abra were all set to go on our big adventure. It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and the grass was as green as possible. So, we were about to head out when I get stopped by my dad. He said to me, "Hey buddy, I know you're excited about this journey, but are you gonna be OK?"

    I had to ask, "What do you mean, dad?"

    "Well son, there's gonna be a lot of folks out there who want to battle you, and I just want to make sure that Abra will keep you safe."

    The thought hadn't really occurred to me. I was so excited, I nearly forgot about the actual battling aspect. I didn't know what to do. So far as I knew, Psyclone only knew how to Teleport.

    "I know" said my dad, "We'll got to the Pokemart. They've probably got some moves they can teach Psyclone."

    So, we went down to the Pokemart. I was hoping for something good that was in my price range. Nope. All the really good attacks were about double what I could afford. But that doesn't mean I didn't find what I was looking for. I eventually got a TM labeled Mimic. After confirming that Abra could indeed learn it, I had Psyclone Learn Mimic. Now I was ready to go.

    And we're off. Our adventure awaits. The Pokemon League is right there ready for an opportunity to be taken. And I'm going to win. I will become the master.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    It's been a couple of days since I left from my hometown of Pallet to go to the Pokemon League. I was walking around for a while, minding my own business, with Psyclone securely in his Pokeball, when I suddenly spot a really cool Pokemon: A Diglett. Alright. My lucky day. Maybe a fight with one of these will help my Abra toughen up. So, I get him out of the Pokeball, and Diglett automatically uses Dig. As Psyclone sees the mound of dirt that's covering Diglett getting closer, ready to strike, I yell out, "Psyclone, do a barrel roll!" Sure enough, Abra rolled away just in time for the Diglett to completely miss him. Afterward, I said, "Alright Psyclone, Mimic it." Psyclone, with a nod, began digging. As both combatants went below the surface, beyond my sight, I could only try to look into Psyclone's digging spot. Not being able to see anything, I decided to just trust my Abra. Sure enough, after a minute or so, I started feeling the ground shaking slightly, and then I saw the Diglett creating a new hole. At least, I thought it created a new hole. It did seem to go through the hole rather quickly and stop abruptly. It doesn't hurt knowing it's eyes looked rather unfocused, like it just got the dirt kicked out of it. Then I see Psyclone emerge from a nearby hole, covered in dirt and a little scratched, but otherwise alright. So, feeling lucky, I grab the pokeball from my pocket and decide to try and catch Diglett, yelling "Let's catch ourselves a Diglett!" So I toss the ball, and watch Diglett get inside, and watch it wobble.
    Can I catch the Diglett?
