Dont bother readng all bold, i already got my hopes of cathcing an Absol ,or any rare pokemon for that matter, crushed. Soon im gonna see if 7k words can get me a magikarp :(

Cole was just a normal 13-year old boy living i a small town next to a beautiful lake, large mountain, and underground cave. However, something was about to happen, something that would change Cole's life forever.

It was a warm Sunday night, right after Cole had gone to a movie with some friends. It was hot and humid, and by the time Cole got home, he was nearly drenched with sweat. Just then, Cole saw a dark shadow, a bit smaller than a Mightyena, standing near the lake.

Cole got a flashlight from his desk drawer and went outside. But of course, when he tested it out, the batteries had fallen out. "Just my luck," Cole muttered. "Pikachu, go!"

The Pikachu came out of it's ball, expecting a fight, but instead it saw Cole yell, "Pikachu, FLASH!"
The moon's glow was suddenly drowned out by a bright flash of light, during which the sky was brighter than noon. The light went out just as quickly, but Cole had clearly seen the figure. It was an Absol.

"Hmm, an Absol," Cole had said. "The Disaster pokemon. Well, that's strange to see around here." Suddenly, Cole remembered a story on the news. There was a man who had gone mad, but as he had died, the man had stammered something over and over. "The mountain," he had said. "One minute th-the mountain was all calm, a-and then, I saw the Absol. It was standing right n-near the mountain, and suddenly, themountain, it e-exploded!"
The man had said this over and over again, right until the very second he died, when all he could manage was a faint croak.

Cole had run as fast as he could. Just before he mae it to the door, a terrible earthquake struck the land. Some houses fell apart immediatly. Others started to rumble, and it was pretty obvious that this was going to be on the morning news. Then Cole looked towards te lake. "Oh Arceus, this is bad."

The lake was churning like crazy from the earthquake, erupting in 20-foot tall geysers every few seconds. Sometimes a gigantic tsunami would erupt out of the water, pulling a few houses into the lake. Suddenly, Cole's parents burst out of the house.
"Cole! Where are you?" They yelled. "Over here, I'm coming inside!" He responded. Suddenly,a tornado fell out of the sky as quickly as a Fearow with no wings. It slowly came towards Cole's house, picking up speed by the second. Cole jumped into the lake just in time, but his parents weren't so lucky. Just as the fresh water-filled waves pulled Cole under, he saw a glimpse of the tornado pick up his house, and along with it... his parents.

Cole sunk down into the lake, farther and farther down until he was sure that he wouldn't survive. But Cole was even more concerned about what had just happened. His parents had died. They were gone. Cole sunk into unconsiousness.

Aboutan hour later, Cole came to his senses about five meters from the lake. Then the reality hit him with the strength of a locomotive. His parents were dead. And it was all because of a Pokemon.
"Curse you, Absol!!!!!!" Cole cried out in agony.

    Two Years Later...

Cole woke up in his new two-story house. He had just had a horrible nightmare, and the worst part was that it was true. is parents HAD died two years ago, and so had everyone in his town, except him. Cole had always assued it was because of luck, and the fact that he could swim. Cole's house and many others had also been destroyed that night, but now he was resting comfortably in a large house Cole had bought with his inheritance. He was working two shifts at a poke-ball factory during weekdays, and on weekends he was a cashier at a poke-mart. Cole did this for two reasons; he needed a job, and it helped Cole get his mind off of the fact that all all of hs friends and family, and everyone he loved, had been killed.

That night, as Cole was leaving his second shift at the Poke-ball factory, he saw another dark shadow, identical to the one he had seen two years ago. "You," he said. "Oh Arceus, this town is in trouble."

The ground shook, lightning flashed, and gusts of wind flew around, nearly knocking Cole off his feet. Suddenly, a house collapsed into rubble, and a large gust of wind picked them up, hurling them straight towards the Absol.
"Well, if that thing can control natural disasters, it can protect itself from some rubble," Cole muttered.
However, the Absol was buried in the mound of bricks, broken furniture, and wood. Cole was tempted to leave it there but he could never let that happen to a pokemon. He dug through the rubble to the Absol buried somewhre under it, while the lightning continued to get closer. Finally his hands found fur ad Cole struggled to pull the heavy Absol out of the collapsed building. Just in time too, because right when Cole got the Absol away from the rubble, lightning struck it and the wood caught fire. The Absol was obviously fainted, but Cole had snuck a revive out of the Pokemart he worked in. The Absol's eyes fluttered open and it gave a weak cry.
"let's get you outta here," Cole muttered as he half lead-half dragged the Absol away from the storm. "I don't think i'll be going home any time soon."

Cole and the Absol made it to the outskirts of town just as the city went up in flames, spinning in a violent storm of bricks and blazing wood. An hour of back-breaking travel later, the city was no longer in sight, but Cole wasn't sure if it was because they were far away, or because it had been completely and utterly destroyed. Probably the latter. And he was just starting to gt used to living there!
"Listen buddy," Cole said to the Absol. "Can you try not to destroy every town you go in?"
"Abb-soll!" Was the response of a now fully-healed Absol.
"Was that a yes or a no?" Cole asked.
    "Absol!"

About a week later, the two partners had traversed a mountain, a cliff, a desert, and a valley (All in the same hundred miles), but they were almost to the nearest city. The going had been tough, of course. On the mountain, a colony of Tyranitars had attacked, but Absol had managed to fend them off. A day later Cole had nearly fallen off the cliff, and Absol had saved him. Every day Cole was starting to like his Absol more and more every day, and was planning to capture him once they became close friends. In a few days they reached the town, a small port city. For once, the town didn't explode when they first reached it! A ruffian sailor was smoking in the square, and when he saw Cole and Absol the sailor spit at them. One day while Absol was relaxing in a makeshift hut the twoesome had made, Cole snuk out and bought a few Ultra Balls. When Cole got home and held out the Poke-balls, Absol happily let Cole catch him.

The two have been best friends since, and you'll be happy to know that Absol never destroyed another town or city again (Well, except for this time when Absol was angry because Cole didn't let him have dessert before dinner, but that's beside the point.)

I'm sorry, but your story is too short as it is right now; you've put under 7k characters in this story. According to this thread, Absol requires a 'Complex' level of story, which means your story would have to be between 30-40k characters.

(I'm just saying this now so you don't wait aaaages for a Grader to come and tell you it's too short. Better to learn early. Maybe How to Write Stories might help? I don't want to put your story down, it's just I'm afraid it is too short for an Absol. Try going for something in the Easiest/Simple category first.)
