[Swc] A prelude to war.

Once upon a time, in a land far away , many Pokemon lived in harmony with each other, but sadly, not all were kind.

Some Pokemon hated the oeace on the land and wanted to cause pain and chaos for all the Pokemon that there lived. So to do that, they started to spread rumors …

In the middle of the plaza, a purple gaseous being floated, in a roughly spherical shape. The only solid thing in his body being his large tongue. He shouted and shouted the latest "news" about the war: "My dear frienth, it'th worth than ever out there. The humanth are attacking uth at full forthe!"

He stopped strategically, giving them time to think, "They have thtarted to uthe heavy weaponry, capable even of killing Deokthyth in one hit."

He put on his best false dismay face - it didn't really matter in the end, they were all being hypnotized anyway, but still, he didn't want to create bad habits.

"Thith, unfortunately ith not a war we can win with thkill. If we want to win, we need numberth. Tho thothe of you that have found a mate, breed! Breed and let your thonth pave the way to our victory."

There was a minor display of disagreement, he still hadn't managed to strip that moral fiber and paternal love away. But in due time he would.

Before teleportting away from the scene, he gave the final command, the hypnosis even stronger, so it couldn't be resisted. "Thonth without thuitable abilitieth mutht be killed - don't wathte time on them -. Thingleth should join our army and help us in battle! Shuppet will take care of the thign-upf."

There was no war, and the soldiers were sold to humans, but by the time the y figured that out … well, it'd be too late by then.

Breed had Gastly told them to do and breed they would, so, on the seventh day of the seventh month was born Kuu Azura, of the ninth generation of the Azumarill clan.

After hatching, the first thing to do was testing his ability. The test was simple enough, a huge almost spherical boulder - but still oddly smooth - was thrown at the child, if it could hold it on its own for five minutes, it could live.

If not … if not the boulder would kill it.

Should the test be done, Kuu wouldn't survive it, but, luckily for him, there were powerful beings willing to save him. Just before the boulder hit the baby, he was snatched.

Not seeing any force trying to hold the boulder, the parents walked away, ready to make a new child.

"Messier Arceus, I rescued zat Pokemon you wanted. Alzough I don't quite understand why not just drop by and stop the whole sing." Said a gray goblin, its skin covered with ring patterns.

"They wouldn't stop. They're far too gone. Stuck too much in their webs of lies." Answered Arceus somberly, to be followed with a pregnant pause.

"Maybe Msr. Mewtwo could help? He's a fantastique telepass, and ze strongest psychic in our compound." Said Hoopa.

"I doubt Mewtwo-dono would help. Not after what happened to Deoxys-san." Said Arceus. "Meet me at the Void Cave later "

"I will, messier, any thing more?" asked Hoopa.

"Take care of the young one. Tell Xerneas-chan that." He answered.

I found myself in a huge meadow, circled by many tall trees - of many colors and shapes - directly in front of me was a huge blue deer with colored antlers, blocking a road.

"Wakey, wakey sleepyhead!" Said the deer. "You're Kuu right?"

I nodded, still a bit confused, as I tried to recognize the place.

"Magnifique! Allons-y then!" And like that, she walked away; for reasons I never fully understood, I was compelled to follow it.

I teleported into the cave, once I thought it to be beautiful, with its glimmering walls, but then I learned its true purpose.

"Mewtwo-dono." Called out Arceus from across the room.

"Arceus." I replied coolly, "You called me."

"Indeed. Have you seen the new kid?" He said.

"No, what about the Azurill though?" I said.

"He's the key to end this." He said, "I'll need your help though."

"What for?" I asked, knowing it was huge. Arceus had roughly the same power as me, if he needed my help ...

"We'll give him the defenses of a God. We'll give him the Wonder Guard." He said.

I stopped, not quite believing what he was saying. The sheer stupidity of it was overwhelming.

"Under Xerneas-chan's care he'll grow extremely fast. Then we'll have our perfect soldier" he continued.

"Why not deal with this yourself?" I pointed out the obvious alternative. "Even without my help, Yveltal and Latios ahould be more than enough to deal with them."

"Image. We need to undo the damage mentally. Otherwise we're "traitors helping the humans". He said.

"But is making a soldier of a baby any better than what they're doing?" I asked.

"Hoopa-san is doing spy work, when the day comes I'll be counting on your help." He said, and left.
