If you have that Pokemon you so desperatedly need, but don't have the time, wish or skill to write for it? Just post here and see if anybody wants to do it for you! Nobody works for free, of course - but people are often happy to write for a Pokemon in return of TM Cases, or even old Pokemon you don't really use anymore. Here are some base guidelines to make our time here more enjoyable though:

• Please don't swamp the thread with your entire wishlist, just post here the top two or so mons you really want!
• Please list the ranking (Easiest, Simple, Medium, etc.) of the Pokemon you wish for.
• If you're willing to write, but nobody has prompted anything, feel free to post here.
• Please post to "claim" a deal so to speak, even if you talked to the person via VM, PM, AIM, Skype, etc.
  
  
• You may only write for two Story Deal Pokemon per month.
• You may only request four Story Deal Pokemon per month.
• Please abide by the base-rate exchange policy below.
• Please also post in this thread to officially exchange Story Deal Pokemon for TM's. Wait for official or moderator approval before removing the Pokemon / TM's from your Stats.

Story deals will take place on the basis of base rates. The base rate of a Mart Pokemon is its Mart value. The base rate of a Story Pokemon is the midpoint of that Pokemon's MCR. For a fair trade, the requested Story Pokemon must either equal (approximately) the value of another Pokemon's base rate or of a TM case worth that base rate. Each rank's approximate base rate is listed below:

Easiest: ~4,000
Simple: ~7,500
Medium: ~15,000
Hard: ~25,000
Complex: ~35,000
Demanding: ~48,000
Stupefying: ~70,000 ​

Let me know and please PM me to confirm before taking on either of these deals, as I am also in the process of writing my own story for these guys, but if I am stumped/unable to finish myself I wouldn't mind someone writing one for me for $/Tms etc

 

Is there any point in limiting it when unofficial ones are unlimited, just an observation

 

my guess would be to avoid thread clutter/spam/abuse but really it's unlimited either way unless you want to do it through here. Also, do you have to use this thread for them from now on, or is it still acceptable to post in the Trade Thread?

 

I'd say it's okay to post it on Trade thread since it's where you do all the trading, this is just so people can do more formal Story Deals. But the only thing I wrote were up to the first four points on the list, so I'm not completely sure on what's the Story staff position. @Smiles;, what's your opinion?

I think it's so great that you're helping each other write and improve your stories! I just want to point out that this isn't necessarily a story deal - if you're working together to improve each other's writing and there's no TM/financial transaction, it's not a deal. Just two Humans being kind to each other. ^^
