The majestic Flying-type Pokemon soared through the night sky. The pale moon illuminated it's bony grey body for the Pokemon hiding below to see. The Pokemon below were hiding in fear of their lives. They knew that the pre-historic bird ruled the jungle and nothing was exempt from complying with it's demands, even if they were sacrificing your family and friends to the beast for lunch. The Aerodactyl's beady eyes scanned the woods below in search of prey. The bushes and trees rustled as the chilling breeze blew by. Then, the Aerodactyl spotted something that would make for a most delicious meal. It swooped down towards the ground at frightening speeds. It tore through the air towards the treetops below.

It folded it's extended wings slightly as it weaved past branches. It suddenly pulled upwards when it was mere inches from the ground. It flapped it's wings fiercely a it landed. It had a rather cunning plan, to try and scare it's prey out. It opened it's jaws revealing rows of jagged teeth and let out a fieresome roar. The ground trembled slightly with the noise. The roar could be heard even on the far side of the island. Then, the Aerodactyl craned it's neck into the green foiliage of a bush to it's right. It's stomach rumbled with hunger as it peered inside. Nothing moved at first but the Aerodactyl's eyes picked up a small squirrel Pokemon hiding under the roots.

It's face lit up with fear and it cowered and started to shake. The Aerodactyl's bony face twisted into a cruel smile and it extended it's beck. It's nostrils flared as it inhaled. The Pachirisu dug it's paws into the earth and stood it's ground. Although it feared for it's life it wasn't going to go without a fight. The hairs on it's White bushy tail stood up as electricity rippled through it's body. It's bright yellow cheeks flashed a darker shade of yellow and they emitted a short blast of electricity. The charge hit the Aerodactyl in the face causing it to jump back a little. This head start was all the little squirrel needed. It took it's opportunity and dove into the tangled bushes. But the huge Pokemon was hot on it's trail and it shoved it's way through the bushes. The Aerodactyl's head stung from when the weak jolt of electricity hit it, but this just helped to enrage the Aerodactyl.

As the gigantic bird ripped through the bushes and reache the other side it ha lost track of the squirrel. The monster had more up it's sleeve though. Although it might not be able to see the little Pachirisu, it could smell it out. It raised it's large head and sniffed in the crisp night air. The scent of the furry creature was still in the air and another sniff told it that it was somewhere to the left. As it spun around it's pointed tail lashed through the air and followed it as it flew through the bushes. It followed the scent of the little Pokemon further and further into the centre of the jungle. It was unusual for the Aerodactyl to venture this far into the heart of the jungle so it didn't recognise the rushing sound of the running water and the crashing of the connecting water. A flash of White crossed it's path and the Aerodactyl caught sight of the Pachirisu.

But the Pachirisu was a very cunning creature an it knew that if it could lead the big beast towards the water it would be able to swim to safety and the Aerodactyl would not be able to follow it as the water would wash it's scent away.
