We Should Have Own Forum

I remember this conversation. There was a time when Ryan, aka Mr. PE2K, said I could move the URPG from the forum at any time if I desired so. Surprising News! We didn't move. :P I have always thought the best method to survive was a symbiotic relationship between the forum and URPG. Though, I would have loved my own forum to open and organize the boards/threads more freely. Always felt so squished into four boards plus the subs!

As it stands, the URPG would not be able to survive on it's own. This is merely a casual Pokemon game for fans and friends to play with each other. Even during it's most popular and active times, it didn't garner a big enough name recognition in the entire community. However, if there was proper advertisements and such, anything is possible. Unfortunately, you'd have to find someone willing to support a separate forum (and I assume it wouldn't be a cheapo freebee), + advertising fees.

Possible. Yes.
Worth the time and effort. No.

On that note, I will agree to the concept briefly mentioned about condensing forum activity to only one forum.
