Recently, Team Evolution reached out to me regarding his ban several years ago. He was apparently banned for leaking certain paragraphs or phrases said by URPG Staff members in private that were provided to him by Pidge. These phrases were, for the most part, innocuous and inconsequential aside from one that mentioned our planned expansion to TPW Forums (Now PWN).

I have discussed with Staff members including many who were around when he was banned (most were not Staff at the time), and we have come to the conclusion that TE's offenses did not warrant a permanent ban. Therefore, we have decided to reduce his ban to one year, served. As this incident occurred several years ago, Team Evolution is effectively no longer banned. We welcome him back to our community after so many years and look forward to seeing him enjoy URPG with the rest of us.


As an important side note: I do want to make the assertion that Team Evolution's case is an anomaly. Banning members is something URPG takes very seriously, and we are not in the position to begin re-assessing every ban of the past just because we have a new Head. Bans are still non-negotiable. If you have been banned, chances are you will stay that way.
