Things you did really well
-Emotion. Looking at this piece for even a few seconds gets me really hyped. Rufflet's face is spot on, and the huge thumbs up was an awesome touch.
-shading and coloring. I looked for 10-15 minutes straight and saw almost nothing outside the lines, nor could I find any real mistakes. The only example is on the twig but it's minor and not even really noticable, but this was really awesome to look through especially since it was pretty much flawless.
-lighting is awesome. I see where the source is coming from, I see the attention to the shadows and the reflection off the clouds, exquisite. Even the twig was paid attention to really well.
-Rufflet itself is really, really well done. Have I mentioned I love the expression and the hair/feathers? Really awesome staying within the lines and the form itself, just superb. And like, the little glistening on the talons? spot on man.
-interesting background. The addition of the cloud really gave the piece a strong sense of unity and style, and it drew my attention enough to not even really acknowledge the cutoff for the blue. It's really well shaded and honestly, just plain fun and interesting, and I really liked it.

Things you did not as well
-obviously this is super nitpicky, but anatomy. Rufflet's wings are ridiculously huge compared to its body; obviously this was stylized and I think it fits, so not saying it's bad, but it's definitely there. Additionally, might be a little bottom-heavy compared to most Rufflet, but I understand why the decision was made and I enjoy it immensely.
-again, nitpicky. the really small place where you went outside the line on the twig. Not very noticeable, and the only place where this happens, but again, definitely there.
-oh look more nitpicky. It would have been cool to see the details on rufflet's legs, like we do in the official arts.

I pass this easily at a Hard, a very very high Hard. There really isn't much else to say so, here's a Rufflet and 10k!
