Stories section will be officially overhauling how we handle ratings and commenting! We will be following a streamlined version of Fiction Rating's where we will have the following ratings for use in the URPG's Writing:


Kids: Intended for general audience 5 years and older. Content should be free of any coarse language, violence, and adult themes.

Teen: Suitable for teens, 13 years and older, with some violence, minor coarse language, and minor suggestive adult themes.

Mature: Not suitable for children or teens below the age of 16 with non-explicit suggestive adult themes, references to some violence, or coarse language. Fiction M can contain adult language, themes and suggestions.

With these changes we hope to streamline what entries can enter competitions (this will be discussed more at a later date,) help anyone looking for something to read, and to help organize which stories are what! We will trust the Author of the story to deem their story the correct rating, but if there are issues Graders will have permission to step in and discuss the rating. Ratings will be required.

Along with this, we will be allowing COMMENTS! How do these work? Nothing special, really. Comments will be permitted or not by the Author, there are no requirements other than this. Please be respectful.

Rating will be required to be displayed before your story. While giving permission for Comments can be stated wherever your story info is.

If the author does not have a statement regarding comments in their story post, assume comments are not allowed until the author states otherwise.
