Fairly close battle between these two. There was a lot of playing and misprediction from both sides, but all in all, Swift managed to pull it off. Some highlights were when we had a giant switch war for Taunts and statuses. There was also the point where Chandelure used Shadow Tag to keep a Sleeping Pokemon in the battle. Huehuehue?

Special Rule: Devo Tourney Rules! All Pokemon are reverted into their basic forms for the duration of the battle. They maintain all EMs that the basic form can learn. Eviolite is a banned item. No Pokemon are banned from this. Same as in the tournament. That ruling was that if it was purchased (such as TM Dragon Pulse for Charmander who gets it by BM) then you can use it, but if it was free (like level up Dragon Claw for Charmander who gets it by TM) then you cannot. Of course, if you have a perma Charmander who has been given TM Dragon Claw, by all means use it!
[If the Pokemon cannot evolve or does not evolve from any Pokemon, it is not allowed. Ex. Kangaskhan, Mawile, etc.]

This battle was...crazy to say the least. Smores accidentally made his team with a giant Fighting type weakness, which Ash was able to take advantage of. With a few boosts and some good EMs, he was able to sweep through Smore's whole team. This was a tourney battle, and both played fairly well. Good game to both.

Heliolisk / Raichu / Eelektross / Rotom-W vs. Rhyperior / Blaziken / Ludicolo / Ferrothorn

Tis here be a gym battle. Nubchicken started a battle off badly for Kanto, passing some very strong boosts to Rhyperior, who proceeded to take down three of Kanto's Pokemon. However, Kanto made a stand, took out Rhyperior, almost took out Ludicolo, and was then KO'd by Ferrothorn. Well played by both, and Black Reaper claimed his badge.

Black Reaper earns $3,000 and the Bolt Badge from winning the battle. Kanto earned $1,500.

Murkrow / Eevee / Bagon / Riolu vs. Torchic / Froakie / Honedge / Zigzagoon

A battle that proved the power of Murkrow. With EMs, good moves, and lots of damage, the Murkrow managed to sweep through pretty much all of Lovecraft's team. I screwed up partially in the battle, and had to rewind it a bit, but other than that and some move mistakes, the battle was done. Lovecraft forfeited after having only Torchic left and all were sent.

Bulbasaur vs. Darkness Ruler
Espeon / Togekiss / Infernape / Aromatisse vs. Meowstic / Espeon

This battle seemed like a bunch of boosters got together in one game. Jokes aside, I picked up this battle from BlueTowel as they had to go, and Meowstic was boosted. With some plays here and there, Eric screwed up and let Espeon get a boost, who then proceeded to sweep his team. Although, I've never seen a Meowstic get melted from a 200 BP Punishment, so that was interesting! Darkness won with only his two Pokemon, so congrats to him :P

Darkness Ruler gains $1,500 for winning. Bulbasaur gains $750.

Lovecraft vs. Darkness Ruler

Boy, this battle was interesting to say the least (even after reading it a second time!). Basically the best summary you'll get is these guys love switching, and that the nubs are big pains. Greninja and Roserade did most of the killing, but it was a battle that worked out fine for both. Good job and props to lovecraft for being a loser for using two nubs, er, i mean playing it well and pulling off the win. Apologies to the battlers for this log not coming up right away due to my computer issues.

In a valiant effort, Nubfrog tried to be kind to his opponent, however they did not like the treatment a little baby would get. Quick to the finish, Nubfrog went in for a Shadow Sneak to finish it. Man, Felly's luck screwed AK for all he had in the beginning. To add to the insult, she had her Starmie squirt water guns to KO his pokemon for the most part. But despite it going horribly, AK tried his hardest, taking out three Pokemon before being finished by his own recoil of a Take Down. Never forget lololololololwatergun AK. NEVER FORGET.

Alakazam vs. Randomly Rolled Sceptile

This is just a general battle that I don't have any random or combustable comments to make about since there's not much nub here :/. To move on though, the speed tie tied in at 339 MPH, with an exciting race to go. Scartile used X-Scissor to knock their opponent Alakarzam out of the race, but they fought back as hard as they could, for only Scartile to win the race. The little green devil, I swear.
