Thread: Apply For or Update a Gym

There are some new changes to Trovita and the Orange Island league.

First off, rentals are not allowed in any of the gyms. Secondly, to answer the above question, Silvally is only allowed as Normal-type.

Trovita Changes:

They key problems with this gym was that a) the challenger could pick the 1v1s and b) all of the leaders' mons were known ahead of time. It was very easy to conterpick, and the challenger didn't have to have one mon for all types either. Now that's changing!

Both battlers must now have one Pokemon for each type. A Pokemon cannot count as two types. All three 1v1s are now randomly rolled by the ref, much like the other gyms in the OI region. Leaders can set rules after the types have been rolled, but all 1v1s use the same rules. The battles are also now Private Open, meaning both battlers can use any mon in their stats if it matches the types rolled.

This affects @Ataro , @Ace Trainer Liam , and @Synthesis . If you still want Trovita, the remaining candidates will battle each other using the following rules:

1v1 (x3)
SM Private Open
Helds On
Sleep/Freeze/OHKO/Evasion/Accuracy Clauses On
No Weather/Building Terrain

Attention! As part of the promotion of Ebail and Seppe to Senior Ref Status and WinterVines stepping down, a few leagues will now have new organizers:

Sorry to do this, but it's been too long without a reply; I'm booting Taither as leader of Driftveil. Which means both the Ground gym Driftveil and the Electric gym Nimbassa are currently open!

Ground types are relatively slow, but bulky and hard hitting! Many Ground types are adorable lovables, like: Swampert, Mamoswine, Excadrill, and many more! Ground may have quite a few type weaknesses, but fret not as there are many duel type Pokémon that are part ground to help counter!

Electric types, on the other had, are speedy and fast, but a tad frail! Most Electric types are mono-electric, but that means only one weakness! These jittery critters come from all your favorites, like: Alolan-Raichu, Jolteon, Rotom(s; all of them!), and so many more!

If you're interested in applying for gym leadership, ask around! Plenty of people will help you out and aid you and your quest for defending your gym (including me!), then post here and wait for a verdict!!

Unfortunately you can only rent up to 4 Pokémon at once but as soon as you drop one, the gym is yours!

Side note: it will be a little while before I am able to edit you into the gym leader thread due to our upcoming server transition. Despite this, you are still free to accept gym challenges and enter gym tourney!
