Swift got ahead early with his Gardevoir, forcing out Togekiss with a Red Card to drag in Hydreigon and bring in Espeon to proc Weakness Policy to set up for Lucario. Swift had some unlucky rolls with Crunch but it didn't stop the monster that is Lucario from punching a huge hole in Soul's team, taking out Hydreigon, Mega Salamence, Cinccino, and then leaving Dragonite severely crippled. After that, Excadrill was sent in, and Soul's team was unable to do much to it and he was too far behind to make a comeback.
