Thread: Gym Tournament 2015 [Round 1]

Everyone, here is the first round of the 2015 Gym Leader Tournament! The battle rules can be found below. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, this round will end at 11:59pm EST on December 26th, 2015. Please remember to post the battle logs in this thread. A short description is required, but you can keep if vague if the battlers wish it so.

If there are any issues in scheduling your battle, please contact me asap. I would like to keep extensions to a minimum.

Just as an fyi for an refs who may post here, but we're going to do 4k for winner, 2k for loser, and 3k for the ref for wages, also known as the 6v6 gym pay.

A 1k pay increase for ref wages is pending. Ref wages will be posted at the end of each round.

Monbrey approved an extra 1k for refs. Ref pay for the duration of the tourney is $4k.

This is your mid-week reminder. You have until this Saturday at 11:59pm EST to do your battle; if your battle is in progress at that time, I'll allow y'all to finish. If y'all are having scheduling conflicts, come to me now so we can at least get y'all started on a forum battle. While I am willing to give an extension due to the holiday on Friday, if it can be avoided, I'd also like that. If I give an extension, it'll be within the next 48 hours, but don't count on it.

Because of the holiday, I'm going to give y'all till 11:59pm EST on December 29th. This'll keep the next round from conflicting with New Years as well in case any of our participants intend to turn up for the new year. I will not be extending for round 1 past the 29th, so if y'all haven't completed your battle by then, I'm going to advance the more active opponent. (In the event something has started and is unfinished, I'll advance the opponent who is currently winning unless the battle is actively in progress.)
