It’s a nice day in Konikoni City. The sun is out, the breeze is cool and the only clouds are far away on the horizon. People hustle and bustle through the rustic streets, searching for deals and delights amongst the many shops and stalls.
When suddenly, a voice bursts out from the crowd!
“Nebby! Get in the bag!”


Several Trainers immediately dash away from their shopping, concernedly chasing after the escaping Pokémon. Shortly afterwards, several more join in the chase. Soon enough, a small army of Pokémon Trainers are chasing a small, sparkling Pokémon around the city.

For a moment it seems like Nebby's slipped away, but then someone shouts from the lighthouse!

A huge, mysterious monster has cornered the little Cosmog!

Battle Rules: SM, Private, Full
Terrain: Changing.
Weather: Changing.
No Held Items.
OHKO Clause.

Encore, Endeavor, Perish Song, Imprison fail.
Imposter and Download select from random teammates.
Trace selects a random ability from a random boss.
Ability suppressing moves will target a random boss ability.

Max Health based effects like Recover, Super Fang and Poison status work on the base health of bosses.
Pain Split works on the base health of bosses.
Bosses have custom Abilities called Complex and Supernatural Recovery. See Abilities for more information.
Epic Boss Battles feature mechanics from the upcoming Dungeons system. See Positioning and Targeting below for more information.

Exceeding the send time limit results -$250 to individual pay and a missed turn.
Players who do not send for at least 75% of the battle will not be eligible for item drops.
Players who do not send for at least 25% of the battle will not be eligible for individual pay.

Attempting to attack or harass other players will result in a failed move and a missed turn as a warning, followed by being KO'd and removed from the event if persisted. All players involved must notify the referee (BlueTowel) if attacking each other as part of a strategy.

A mysterious Ultra Beast had appeared and homed in on Nebby, cornering it at a lighthouse.
Coming to the rescue, some trained Pokémon immediately began launching attacks at the giant monster: Greninjas flipped and leapt into battle, striking and slashing. Others began to increase their attack power, or to prepare defensive moves.
And then... A Serperior became the focal point of the army. Pokémon began to harass and attempt to distract the serpentine Regal Pokémon, screeching at it, attempting to charm and captivate it. Yet, as if by calculated strategy, the Serperior became more focused, more powerful.
Was this noble Pokémon to be their leader, their inspiration?

It focused the echoing noise, trying to hurt those who were attacking it. Had it some kind of personal connection to those it targeted, or was it simply lashing out at random?
Enduring almost every barrage, it tentatively clung to consciousness, before falling to a final Leaf Blade from a trainer's Rowlet.

As it lay there, the trainers tried to find Nebby to put it in the bag... But it had gone!
They hurriedly searched high and low throughout the lighthouse, but the little Cosmog had fled the scene and was nowhere to be found!
Rain had set in from somewhere, though a mysterious air current seemed to shield the crowd like an invisible umbrella.
Suddenly, someone spotted a giant monster in the distance! It seemed to be chasing something!
